Excellent piece of kit.
Until a few years ago, I had absolutely no trouble with my feet. Then the dry skin started and no matter what I did, nothing helped.I had to use metal foot files which basically felt like using a cheese grater.I was so upset and disheartened that nothing seemed to help and decided to look for something else.I chose this because of the brand, having used many of its products as a Registered Nurse. My biggest problem was the packaging as I broke three nails trying to spit and ended up having to rip it.The unit needed 2 batteries which were provided but I found it difficult to open the battery unit. There are 2 heads which came with the unit and are really easy to insert. The power switch for on/off is easy to use. There is another switch just above the power switch but I don't know what it's for.No instructions came with the unit as I suppose it's easy to use.It was extremely efficient but very speedy and if you don't hang on, you could find it eating your leggings, as mine nearly did.It was totally painless to use, especially compared to the metal files. In less than two minutes, on the first use, it cleared a lot of the hard, cracked skin, I was shocked at how good it was.Another two minutes, later on, cleared even more.No pain whatsoever, just sheer relief and smooth skin, which was wonderful to see and feel.I couldn't use it on my instep because it was too ticklish for me but I can manage there by using other tools. If you have any foot trouble needing skin removal, buy this as it's well worth the money. You can buy replacement heads when necessary.

It does comes with the cracked heal contoured head!
I almost didn't buy it because some reviews said it came with the wrong changing head and not the contoured one in the pictures but it does come with it which is exactly what I wanted. The file is brilliant! I should have bought it earlier. It has 2 speeds and requires 4 batteries which are included. It does remove the skin very good. Great value for money as I bought it on sale but honestly the full price is still worth it if the heads don't need replacement often and the file doesn't break fast which at the moment I don't know as I just got it today. It fits very comfortable in the hand and is not heavy at all. Great buy!

Would highly recommend
Great product and half the price of going to a salon. Totally painless. Lightweight and perfect fit for handheld use.Could do with a variety of roller heads but only a suggestion for the future 😁Fast delivery too.Battery operated so no need to charge.

Noticed difference after first use 👍
Easy to use and noticed difference first time I used it . Feet feel soft with my heels ready for my summer sandals . Great product . Highly recommend the cream as well which was finishing touch and left feet silky smooth .

Wonderful
Wonderful. Works so well, easily and comfortable. I chose this one as it is made by Scholl as it is a reliable make. The handle is easy to manoeuvre. The price was a fair price.

Downgrade on original
Bought this to replace the one I've had for many years. It is adequate but a poor replacement for original model. Quite flimsy in comparison. Not sure if will last as long as my original.

Update after 2 years - Excellent & Great Value
I really like this foot file. If you follow the instructions & look after it, it'll last a long time. I do wish it had a charger adapter but I suppose that may potentially be a drawback in the long run, rechargeable batteries are just as good if not better (it'll avoid any problems with the charger if one was to be fitted with an updated model). It definitely pays off to wash & dry your feet prior to use & analyse the type of skin you're using the device for & use the correct head & you'll achieve the perfect, polished finish.I wash my feet, use the very coarse head on the built up areas, change down to a moderate course head for the ball of the foot & the bottom of heel, change out again for the cracked heel head (when necessary) & change again for the polisher & your feet will look & feel fantastic to touch! I'm sure if I could walk & had any sensory feelings in my legs & feet it'd feel nice, somebody described it like walking on a cloud...Just a couple of things to note:Avoid using in one place for any more than 2 to 3 seconds. There's no need to push down whilst using the device as the correct heads do the job great if you use it in a circular motion. Also your machine has a safety setting that stops if you do try to press hard so don't think that your machine is on the blink if this happens.Plus, I'm one of those people who doesn't read instructions & it took me a while to find out, the button has different settings dependant upon the speed you want it to spin - who knew?! ;0)In 2018 I originally wrote that it wasn't worth the £40 it's being sold at on the high street. I got it on a pightening deal for £16. I take that back after not having any troubles for over 2 years! If I had any suggestions, I'd say it'd be a lot easier if it came in much easier packaging to open from new. Plus it'd be great if it came with a cap bag to store the machine in when not in use & keep all the heads together.
