Exactly the hasps we needed
I used these hadps to secure the lids(roofs) of the birdhouses I've built for my. She decorates them and we hang them around our neighborhood. Our neighbors just love 😍 them.

Great for birdhouses
When we built our birdhouses, we hinged the roofs so that we could open them to track the progress on hatchlings and at the end of the season to clean the boxes. These are perfectly sized hasps to keep our birdhouses secure and closed.

I'm not sure how this product is receiving such good reviews. I must not have received the same product because what I got is pure junk. I don't believe it be be any flimsier than it is.

Well, these hinges are pretty useless beyond just functioning as a visual addition to a box. The material is so thin and crudely produced that they can hardly be considered a functional hinge. Anyway, you get what you pay for so keep this in mind when you purchase these.
