Firstly, these are extortionately expensive for three very small pieces of metal. I downgrade the vote by two stars for that, it seems greedy.Now that's out of the way, I am pleased to confirm that these do work very bwell and can bring back new life to an old chain that has snapped can or a chain that needs the length changed.They are very neat and once fitted, do offer the strength and reassurance you need that your chain is going to be safe (there are horror stories about injuries relating to chains breaking).I prefer for my chain to look continuous rather than using the alternative slip link and therefore I am going to have to pay a premium.If you are like me and want your chain to be strong, reliable and visually continuous, you will want to buy these too.Drop the price and I'll increase the stars!

These are ideal and arrive with instructions. Solid, sturdy and exactly the quality you’d expect from Shimano.I used these to re-link a 7 speed chain and the worked perfectly.
