I like that you can adjust the grind from fine to coarse, it does take a while as it's a manual grinder but also gives your arms a good workout so worth the effort.

I am really impressed with how easy this is to use. You turn the dial to set the grind - coarse, medium or fine- and then add beans and start turning the handle. I think it would be helpful if there was some sort of indicator as to how coarse the grind is, especially as if you turn too much you can break it. So a point off for that. Also, the container the coffee goes into feels very flimsy plastic. I do worry about it breaking and not being able to get a replacement. Cleaning wise it is easy, but I am not sure if I have to remove the ceramic core. The instructions are a bit vague there. However, it does the job great and much better than electric ones that don't do as fine as espresso and burn the coffee if you grind it too much. It comes with a bag so great for travelling but for me it's nice to have something that doesn't take up lots of space on my counter.

A little bit of hard work, but worth it. I enjoy the effort put in and it only takes a couple of minutes. Can turn to make the grounds fine or course. Sturdy, reliable and so easy to use!

Advantages: one can adjust the coarseness of the grind, and it's easy to clean. Disadvantages: too small to hold and use comfortably which makes it awkward, and only small amounts of coffee beans can be ground at any one time, one must empty and refill it a couple of times to grind enough for several cups. It's functional and the outcome is fine, but not the easiest to use.

For those who need utterly fresh coffee at all times from freshly ground beans then this is for you. I bought for camping trips. I found it does make great coffee...eventually. It is easy to use but very slow and somewhat tedious to get enough ground coffee to make a cupful. I don't really think it is worth the extra weight if you are lightweight camping. Go to the supermarket and buy a bag of ground coffee unless you relish grinding beans for 10 minutes each time you need to make coffee.

The lid rubs against a plastic part while grinding coffee, creating plastic shavings that end up in the coffee. This is unacceptable and should not be sold at all.

Love this! Sturdy, compact, easy to use. Fits in my work bag so I can take it wherever I go. Handle detaches making it easier to pack and thw handle is easy to turn.
