As most most types of bulkhead lights, they tend to have a rather industrial look however, this one is much more stylish that most. It is provided with both chrome and white bezels, meaning that you can match the lights, to a certain degree, to the surroundings. Even with the additional decorative features, the key aspects have not been compromised, being brightness and ease of installation.With a lumen rating of 1,300, it is broadly equivalent to the light which would have been given out by a 100w bulb, in old money, which should be bright enough for most situations. With a colour temperature of 4000K, I think this is just about perfect for the circumstances for which it has been designed, being a shower room or bathroom, where it is generally accepted that a whiter light is better (rather than say, a warmer, creamer light).The bulkhead feels very robust and being made from toughened plastic, it should withstand a reasonable amount of abuse. I didn't throw any rocks at it to try it out (and wouldn't recommend doing so either) but it does feel like it should still be suitable for a situation where light abuse is possible. It is rated as IP54 which means that whilst it can be used in damp and outdoor environments, it will require protection from jets of water.Importantly, it is very straightforward to install, with the only steps required being to wire the electric cable into the supplied connector block, affix the light to the wall and fit the diffuser and bezel.

Like the simple look and gives good light with the option of making dimmer without the need for a dimmer switch

Very bright lights with good quality fittings

The light is boxed with instructions the English instructions were clear and understandable. The light comes with fitting screws and plugs for fitting to wood and plaster. I had to source wire and a plug to complete my fitting.The wiring box cover when removed has channels for live and neutral wires which are clearly identifiable my L and N printed in the case.The fitting is not a traditional screw-type but a plastic snap fitting which I was a little unhappy with and initially couldn't get the wires to securely clip in but with perseverance and ensuring the wires are securely connected was fine in the end.The body of the light once wired up was a little fiddly to secure once flush to the ceiling but again perseverance was the key. A very versatile light indeed as it has 2 bezels provided, choose between white or chrome

This is a well designed and well engineered 14W LED light. The inlet feed is twin connections (no protective earth connection) and the connections are designed to be 1mm2 or 1.5mm2 which is good to see. The connections are made in a cable gland at the rear and it has its own vable clamp and weather seal. The fixing to the wall is easy with three slotted screw slots (makes for easy/safer fitting) and the 1300 lumems light is a nice 4000K neutral white light. The beam angle is 120° so it covers the room nicely. The bezels are silver finished plastic or a white plastic. I noticed the silver was almost perfect mirror finished amd the white bezel matched the light housing. I have to say i liked the quality of the silver one, the supplied white plastic one i saw very slight plastic forming errors either side of the light ( it will be the mould was too cold or the plastic too cold, typically the first few are recycled and i got one that should have been). Given the quality of the rest this is a simple mistake, the rest is superb. Hands down this wouldnt put me off from buying a dozen or so for the whole house or for a covered patio etc etc... they are very well engineered and i truly like this product and the rest of the range. A round bulkhead light - available with a white or a chrome effect collar. Also availble in two wattages - 14w and 17w. Very nice even light ideal for porch, stairway or passage - but bear in mind that even with such an effective diffuser the light is fairly directional. As a lobby light just inside our back door its proved ideal - fitted on the ceiling as a replacement for an old style circular tube light.

Can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using the screws and plus provided.Wiring is simplified by a push-fit connector.Two smart bezels are included, a white and an alternative chrome one which are a simple push fit once the unit is in place.The light output is very good and the unit is promised to last for many hours, but does not incorporate a replaceablelight source so it means a complete replacement in the case of failure.
