It did what we bought it for during covid, and that was home pedicures. But the bulb lasted less than a year despite a reply that it will last...longtime. So, we need to replace, but it will not be with this product. Lesson learned, if the bulb is key to it’s function, it should be replaceable.

Some other reviews have complained about the quality of the gooseneck. It is held together by a small screw; into plastic. This is not an industrial grade lamp so treat it with care. I found that moving it around or carrying it by the base with eliminate any problems. I am blind in one eye and don't see well out of the other. This lamp is terrific for older people with poor vision.. The 10x, glass, lens allows me to easily read the newspaper again. The LED's bring plenty of light. I found no tipping issues as the base is stable enough. I would definitely recommend this lamp and the price is right

I love this little magnifying lamp for taking to the craft store. It runs on batteries so I can work anywhere there is space at the community table. The neck stays in place at all kinds of angles. I take both the 2x and 5x lenses so I can switch out when needed. My only negative is that the lamp doesn’t provide enough light directly on my project. It’s ample, but I would prefer it to be brighter. However, for the price, it’s a good light-weight lamp for crafters on the go

As a handsfree magnifier, It has been good for removing splinters, examining moles, & crafts.VALUE - GreatQUALITY - Plastic body, but I don't foresee any issues.RECOMMEND - YES* NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: Thank you! Unless I'm overlooking something, there is not currently anyway to store the light "hood" when using the magnifying glass. I anticipate it will be lost by end of the year. Please consider adding a notch or swivel to hold the hood to the side. Again, good product!

This thing is great I can finally see perfectly on fine circuit work, but there is a bit of a hassle to get to be sturdy, the base doesn't want to keep it planted and the thing is badly top heavy. You'll want to put some extra weight in the base to make it more useable.

My husband asked for a set of magnifying glasses for Christmas but the set wouldn’t come in until far after Christmas so I asked him why he had put this on his list, he said that everyone should have at least one nice magnifying lens. I think this one fits! It looks well made, has some weight to it and has a wooden handle. The lens isn’t that strong but I knew that by looking at the power. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this purchase.

The lamp had to be put together when it arrived, but it was easily done and didn't require any tools. Also, it only took a few minutes. I bought the lamp to be able to crochet more easily and I've tried using it for this and it worked very well for this. Both the magnifying glass and the lamp are helpful.I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The light is not very bright and there is no way it magnify s 10X.Where it states 10X magnification power they are purposely misleading because it is not magnification power like you are used to. It is 10X diopters, and that 10X diopters, if calculated correctly, means the viewed item actually appears as 1.2 times the actual size when viewed (4 diopters is 1X or 0 magnification). A 1x magnification power is a 100 percent increase in the magnified object's size but the “first” 1X is actually 1x0=0. At 2X it is +2x1=2 or twice as big.
