Recently upgrade to 2018 macbook Pro, this hub is definitely the best purchase I made! all the ports works perfectly with my macbook, usb speed is fast, hdmi video output is smooth and ethernet port is easy to use. I like its module design cause the removable modules give you the ability to customize the hub base on your need. they claim that it wouldn't drain the battery of MBP that fast like other brands, I don't have a comparison so I can't tell if this is true but so far the battery drops in reasonable speed when it attached with this adapter. and one thing you may concern is that it fits the laptop without leaving a gap so it will not work with a snap-on case. I will keep using this hub in my daily work and come back to update this review if any issues occur.

Very happy with this product. Well made. Worked very well with my Mac book pro 15in. The color matches to the laptop. Now I can connect Ethernet, backup drive with this hub instead of two adapters.

This is super useful. I can connect almost any type of cords to my macbook and it work flawlessly.

I was happy to find an adapter that would work a bit like a dock; I have power & a USB-C monitor that I was hoping to plug into this device in addition to using the ethernet adapter. However, the USB-C inputs on either end only work with the provided extra adapters, as there's a recess that prevents usage by normal USB-C peripherals. Even Apple, the undisputed King of walled gardens, opened up to a brand agnostic peripheral format. The fact that this device doesn't boggles the mind.Very disappointed with this device.

This product looks great and the and goes well with my space gray MacBook aesthetically but unfortunately it does not work as advertised, All of the ports did work but only if I was using them individually so if I had my phone plugged in and I tried to plug in the charging cable my phone would disconnect and this was the case for every port. Some items such as external hard drives that I have I could not even use via this hub but I was able to use the detachable adapters to plug the USB-A into my USB-C ports and those adapters would have to be the best thing about this product but it is not enough for me to keep it and will be returning it

I hate writing bad reviews but this experience is way too frustrating. Things were going well for a few months until one of the usb adapters came apart when unplugging a usb cable through normal use. The picture shows the "normal" adapter on top while the bottom one shows the separated casing and electrical components. When requesting a refund, I was told this was the result of physical abuse and the warranty would not apply. In addition, the HDMI port is no longer functional. I'm certain it is the HDMI adapter because I was able to successfully use the HDMI via a separate adapter. I suspect they sell many of these adapters and only a small % have issues. However, should you be one of the unlucky ones like me, don't plan on any support from the manufacturer to honor their warranty.

This is an amazing product. I've had it for over a year and have had no problems. And just for the record, it works great in both Mac and Windows.The fact that this thing comes in many small parts might put some people off, but for travel it's great. If I just need to hook up a quick USB-A cable, I can just grab the single adapter and plug it in real quick. If, however, I plan to be working at a desk for a bit I can plug in the full unit and gain ethernet, HDMI, USB and power pass-thru.The box it comes in also acts as a storage case. It is foam inside and has a fitted space for each piece. This means I can just toss the whole box into my bag and not worry about losing any little pieces.
