Take Heart, My Child: A Mother's Dream

Received this today and couldn't wait to read it. I'm a grandmotherly age, although I don't have any grandchildren yet. I listened to Ainsley (if I may please call her that) talk about her father and this book, including her reading from it, on Fox and Friends the day it was released; and I immediately, before the show ended, went to Amazon to order it. I knew I wanted to have this on my shelf ready to read to my grandchild or grandchildren if I am lucky enough to be blessed with them. I love to read it and look at the beautiful artwork (by Jaime Kim) - so sweet, soft, and lovely; so fitting for Ainsley's words. The poetry is so lovely and will be wonderful to read to a child over and over again. Note that it is appropriate for boys or girls; no gender is mentioned. What a loving, beautiful tribute to her daughter. This book is full of the love a mother feels for her child and the words of wisdom, love, and hope we want to pass on to our children and our grandchildren - A mother's dream. Well done, Ainsley; and thank you for this gift.

I bought this book tonight and read it to my fourteen year old granddaughter. She smiled. This is a wonderful book to share with those you love.

Ainsley Earhardt is one of the classiest ladies in news right now. Add to that, she is a godly woman, a beautiful lady, a southern belle, and a wonderful mother. We need more women like this writing children's books. This book is a beautiful example of a wonderful woman pouring out examples from her own childhood and illustrating those ideas into an encouraging book of faith, hope, and dreams for our children. What a lovely book to read to your children. This will be a favorite at bedtime around our house for years to come! Thank you, Mrs. Earhardt for this work of art. It has truly blessed our family. I highly recommend this precious book.

What a beautiful book; beautifully written and beautifully illustrated. It truly expresses the love and hopes a mother has for her child. It is the perfect gift for an expectant mother, a new mother, or a mother of any age.

Absolutely the most wonderful child's book I have encountered. The prose is beautiful and the illustrations are absolutely wonderful. You will not go wrong in ordering this book it will be a hit with you and your children. Congratulations to Ainsley Earhardt for a positive hit.

This book received too much publicity getting expectations up from readers. It was a let down. If it wasn't for Ainsley's popularity on TV this book would have flopped. Young kids are not able to understand this reading. It was written more for an adult to read and the feelings they would have towards their child. My ten year old nieces were not able to understand what this book was all about and my nephews said it was stupid....lol. This was Ainsley's first attempt to get on the cash band wagon and make some $$ like the rest of the Fox people. I'm very glad I did not pay the full retail price of $19. The graphics were fair and the format is a lot like Nancy Tillman's books for children.

This is my second purchase of this wonderful book. Beautifully written and illustrated. I am giving one to my daughter and keeping one at my house.I have a 23 mo old grandson and a 6+ mo granddaughter and they bring so much sunshine to my life. We have one child and these precious babies will be our only grandchildren. Our daughter married mid-30's and I pray every day for these babies, their babies--all future generations. This is a timeless book.I have always loved Ainsley and when I saw her with her Dad and her beautiful daughter, I immediately ordered the first book. The book became out of stock but Amazon let me know when it was available and the second book would be shipped.Can't recommend this book enough. Ainsley is a beautiful person inside and out and you can feel her faith and see her glow.

Wow, a very wonderful story with beautiful illustrations. A great gift to send to families as we begin the holiday season.

Beautiful book something I could read over and over again to my daughter.

I bought this book for my only daughter for her 32nd birthday!! I wrote a loving note inside and explained that had this book been written all those years ago, I would have given it to her the day she was born!! She was very touched and loved it!!
