The phone case I received was a great case. It comes as advertised and does what it claims which is to give the phone good protection when you drop it. The pull out thing in the back allows you to stand the phone up horizontally or vertically while you watch movies, sits at a good angle for viewing and is very sturdy. Also, when the fold down thing in the back is extended out, it acts as a good thing to put your fingers through which helps you hold onto the phone easier with one hand. No complaints on the sturdiness, quality or toughness of the case. It fits the phone as described and the belt clip holds the phone securely in place to your waist without it moving at all, so it performs just as is described. My only complaints are personal preference complaints which might not matter to you. Or it just may? So read on.First, I find it to be too slippery. It’s a little too hard to hold onto while using. It needs better gripping on it in my opinion.Secondly, the case seems to continuously be really hard to slip out of the holder with just one hand quickly. It’s too snug of a fit for me. Way too snug. Even after some time of using it, hoping it would expand at least a little and get easier to slide out, it still takes two hands to get it to come out most of the time. Where I have to hold the clip with one hand and slide the phone out with the other. I, personally, need an easier and faster release by using just one hand. But, you might not care about that and prefer that. So personal preference applies there.My last thing I don’t like is that the buttons, like the volume up and down buttons and the silent switch on the top left side of the phone and the button on the top right of the phone that turns the screen off and on, are too recessed in and are hard to push easily. Although they would be easier to push, I assume, for someone who has smaller fingertips or smaller hands, like most females do or even the smaller guys out there do, I have big man hands so it doesn’t work well. Although I get why it is designed that, which I assume is to have the recessed or lipped part hit the ground first to protect the screen, I find it to be too much of a lip or recess to be able to easily push the side buttons and it also makes the case bigger, which makes it harder to hold and use with only one hand. And my hands are not small. But again, just personal preference.Overall, it is a good quality case for the price, does what it says it does, is durable and is tough. It was shipped quickly and arrived on time. So the product itself is exactly as it states and is a great deal for the price. But with MY own personal preference problems that I have with it regarding the size of the lip being slightly too much, the slipperiness or the lack of a grip when holding the phone with one hand, along with how hard the phone is to slip in and out of the belt clip easily, has made me put this case away and just keep it as a back up case. But if the cons that I described regarding what I don’t personally like about it are no big deal to you, then this would be a great phone case to use and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anybody who is just looking for an affordable, plain black, hardshell case, with a retractable kickstand and a secure belt clip.

This fits the iphone xr well. Seems well made. The "case" half of it has a nice kickstand in it to prop up the phone. The whole thing is very slim. The only quibble I have is that it's hard to get the phone lined up with the "arms" and slide it back in. Might just be how all these kind of cases are. I used a leather belt case for my prior phone and that was much easy to put the phone back into, but it was a lot bulkier.Edit - after a year of use - I'm much better at getting it in and out of the case. I've hooked it on stuff a few times and really put a strain on the belt clip and it did not break. What has happened at one year of age is that the case has cracked in several places. It still holds the phone fine but not quite as tightly and I assume eventually the cracks will get worse. So I'm ordering another one. For the price I'm satisfied with the year of good service I got out of it.

I’ve had this exact same case ever since my iPhone 5s Plus and on. It is very hard to find a case anywhere that has a vertical portrait stand that works well or find one at all. I searched Amazon for vertical case and then had to dig for this one. When this came up I didn’t hesitate a moment. It is a minimal case for a good price. For a phone this big it stands surprisingly well. A big plus is it is easier to hold my phone being able to slide fingers through stand. My experience has been if you drop phone on a corner the case may break but protects phone. When that happens I’ll just buy another case for no more than it costs. Case is a bit of a hassle to remove to avoid breaking it but it fits tight and is sturdy for thin plastic. I don’t have a wireless charger yet so I can’t comment on that. If you want a case that stands in portrait (vertical) I don’t think you could find a better product.

I have bought this same case for multiple variations of the iPhone. Currently using the XS Max and this case is awesome! I don’t use the belt clip and and only use the case because I wanted a thin case with a kickstand. I use the kickstand A LOT! This is also what causes me to buy a new case every 6-8 months because it breaks off. At $9.99, with throwing the belt clip away, I feel this is still a great buy. It feels great in my pockets compared to other cases I’ve tried and most kickstands don’t go horizontal and vertical and this one does. Highly recommend this product but don’t be surprised if you need to buy another one.

This is my favorite cellphone case. It's light, it's durable, it protects the phone, it's easy to clip on to a belt. It's got a kickstand, which is convenient for either portrait or landscape viewing. There's nothing I don't like about the case. You do have to be careful when you sit down, particularly in a car. If you're not careful, and the case hits the car door or the arm of a chair, the clip can break off. It that happens, the case is toast. That just happened to me, so I ordered another one, which came in one day. Great case, great service!

This is the 3rd case like this I have purchased. The first was for my iphone 7 and the 2nd for an iphone X.Was very satisfied with items durability until I dropped it and the belt clip broke off and was unable to repair it. I ordered a 3rd and so far is serving me very well.The believe when I dropped the phone it must have landed in an unusual way to snap the clip. It probably could have been repaired by someone who knew how, but at this price it was easier for me to reorder the item.

The product is and works great. The only concern I have is that with the thickness of my work belt, the clip has a hard time staying put, during certain movements. The clip has a tendency to flip off, if the phone is not in the cradle. This is also hard on the clip. With a clip that will fit a wider belt, the cradle will fit closer and flatter next to me, instead of having the bottom stick out. Adding another 1/16th to 1/8th may work.
