Very secure and easy to install

The swimming pool ladder bracket is sturdy and easy to install. It is made of a metal. For the price I thought I was getting two, I must not of read the description very well. I was going to return but glad I didn't. I ended buying another and glad I did.

We installed the pool ladder mounts on concrete. The 4 bolts give the ladder extra support.

I have two different types of pool rail connectors. These are the better quality ones. The plastic is thicker and the allen wrench screws are better than the bolts that go through and connect with a nut, in my opinion.

The product looks very sturdy - my problem is with the item description. "Saftron 3" White Surface-Mount Bases". "Bases" implies that you would be getting more than 1 base... fyi - 1 base is worthless to hold a ladder in place, you need 2 bases - and therefore will need to buy 2 of these items.

Seems sturdy and what I was looking for. Problem is I was under the impression I was ordering this as a pair since I need two flanges to hold the pool ladder in place. If you order this looking for a pair you will need to purchase twice.

The mounting lag screws are 5/16 " SS. That was nice. But I questioned the lightweight plastic anchors. There were no instructions regarding size to drill hole for the anchors. I finally got the holes drilled and lightly trapped the anchors in and got the lag screws tightened. They felt pretty secured. On the advice of a local hardware store employee, I used steel anchors on the other leg. I tried to take the ladder out of the bases and the plastic anchors and base pulled right out of the concrete. I am going back and drill holes for steel anchors. Detailed instructions from company would be nice or maybe I should hire a professional
