Photron 1.2-Watt Portable USB LED Light (Black)

Fake product, the product shown in the description is not the one I received. The white cap covering the LED s seems to fall off every time, and the resistors used in the circuit are of inferior quality. Consider yourself lucky if this thing lasts more than a couple of hours. Amazon representatives told they've initiated an "internal complaint" regarding this scam and their QC team is inspecting the matter. Pathetic experience from seller cloudtail. Had to opt for refund.

I am sure you would see mixed review ratings about this product in the website which would confuse you before buying it. It would be difficult to ascertain the quality of the product with mixed reviews.My feedback.1. Good packaging, on time delivery and serves the purpose of working in dark without backlit keyboard.2. I am awarding 4 star because the quality of the product is not so rigid. The outer cover of the product came out when I took it in my bag during travelling. Fortunately I was able to put it back and started working fine.

I thought it will be useful when using laptop in dark. But, when typing, the light falls on your hands and the shadow blocks the letters. So, it doesnt make any difference using it. A longer chord might have been better

Bought this on 12th September, Got it Today.It's about 7 inches in length. It looks exactly like what its shown while purchasing.1) The plastic quality used is very good and has matte finish to the entire body.2) The LED is very bright and can be used for keyboards which do not have back-lit lights.3) Don't expect it to be too bright to light up a small room.4) It's bright enough to light up a book while studying/reading. You can use this with a powerbank (any)5) The LED gets warm after 15 minutes of usage and gets HOT after 30 minutes or so and it doesn't effect the LED or its life.6) There is a small gap or a narrow cut at the back of the led which I can call it a heat sink. After using it, it cools down very fast due to the heat sink though it ruins the look of it.7) It works with mobiles, just connect it with a OTG cable.8) Body is flexible and works with any position bent.9) I took one star out, due to its heating. Though it doesn't have any adverse effects10) Doesn't have a on-off switch, once its plugged in it will remain on until we take it off.11) It has a branding at the USB, "Photron" and is way better than the cheap Chinese ones or other replicas.Final virdict :I would surely recommend this small and useful LED lights to those who are night readers who work at night or buy it just like that.It's portable, doesn't need any charge since it has no batteries. This is the best usb light you can ever get, bought it after a friend's suggestion. Its useful in every way possible.Light dosen't dim or go off even when operated for 9 hours. Can even be used as a night lamp.Also a suggestion, while using this in a powerbank, please use it in 1A output port and not on 2A, 1A is enough and the light output is brilliant.Just go for it guys, its the best. Ideal for gifting as well. :)At last, its a must possess for everyone who works in night or wanting a torch kinda brightness in night.

this causes the light to be too close to the book or a laptop keyboard causing shadows.ideally if the length was longer, then a less focused light dispersion could have resulted in less eye strain. Waste of money. Althought you cant expect much from a low prized product.

Yellowish light, light intensity is very low. low grade product.Does not fit properly on the USB port of my power-bank (tried on two power banks).I have lost my money. Product dose not match with the picture.Suggesting "amazon" to stop selling this product.
