They are still doing what they say, keeping my feet dry.
I must have bought about 15 pairs of "waterproof" boots over the last few years, from £29 to £120. All have let water in within a few months, some a few weeks! I said to my wife, in jest, could do with some waterproof socks, never thinking these even existed. She looked on-line and we bought these socks. BRILLIANT!!! Still keeping my feet dry after a few months of wear. Best thing ever. Would certainly recommend. My boots at the moment let water in, which obviously wets the outside of the socks, but my feet inside are dry. MAGIC! Great work Otter.

What a find.
Had a heads up about these "waterproof" socks from a playing partner at my golf club. I ordered some last week and they arrived within 24 hrs. I was impressed with the service and the socks looked like they would do the business.I wore them for the first time in a competition today struggling through the aftermath of storms Ciara and Dennis. On top of that was the melt water from Mondays snow. I must admit I was sceptical as to whether they would manage to keep the water out. All I can say is my feet were perfectly warm, comfortable and above all dry as a bone.I will be ordering a few more pairs in the very near future. Only the wash test to go.I can highly recommend the service and the product.

Not waterproof. Useless for running
Bought these because the reviews sounded good but they didn’t work at all for me. Wore them running through short grass and my feet were wet in seconds. The pale pink bits of the toe box are the only dry bits - as you can see there’s not much! Waste of money

Comfortable but not waterproof
Test walked these new socks for the first time today, a good 9 mile walk along the banks of the local river, very wet at times, foot path under water, a real good test I thought... Sadly after the first bit of water the left sock leaked like a sieve..... I was more concerned about getting blisters, but the socks were really comfortable, shame they didn’t keep my feet dry... Will be returning them this week.......

Disappointed given reviews
Bought for winter trail running...reviews were good but alas my experience not so good...keep your feet warm and feet half dry..i find that water gets through on the toe end of the sock and wicks upwards along the rest of the sock...todays run wasn't particularly wet underfoot apart from a two unavoidable puddles...i got home ands toes were wet...100% waterproof i would say no, comfortable yes and warm yes...compared to my sealskinz (these are 100% waterproof!) these are a disappointment..

Lovely socks but . . .
Absolutely love the colour and fit of these socks - very comfortable. I am not entirely convinced they are waterproof. First time trampling through long wet grass and my feet felt wet quite quickly. However, when I got home, the socks were wet and moist on the inside but my feet were dry. Decided that I would keep them for dry and less wet conditions because of their comfort. After washing the socks and drying them on a radiator, I am now impressed with them as have been through much deeper water. I think I may have been confused between cold feet and wet feet.

THEY ACTUALLY WORK!
I was very sceptical when buying these socks as I read the reviews and they seemed to be quite mixed. The idea of having waterproof socks also seems quite interesting (and unbelievable!).Anyway, I bought some and decided to test them in my sink at home before taking them out for a walk.During these COVID times, I haven’t been able to invest in walking boots and therefore I just go for walks in my trainers. This usually works, but when walking in Dartmoor, walking boots are usually better! So I wore these socks with my trainers when walking in Dartmoor a few weeks ago and was slightly worried. It had been quite a rainy week so I knew the moors would be quite dewy and the terrain would be wet. Within a small amount of time my shoes were socked through HOWEVER the socks kept my feet dry.The actual socks felt cold from walking in the cold and wet terrain but my feet were dry! The walk lasted a few hours and I walked through wet moors and encountered one small river! My feet were dry (a little cold!) for the whole walk.I would recommend these socks for any wet, muddy walks.I’ve used the socks three times in total and each time my feet have been dry! When wearing the socks - the insides never got damp or I never allowed for the water to go inside the sock - if that happened - then I presume the ‘waterproof’ part would not actually work. So use your common sense when using the socks!

Very useful, great performance
Really proved their worth during a hike where my waterproof boots were soaked through after being submerged in a bog.The next day the boots hadn't dried out and it was a case of having to wear them anyway, normally that would be a disaster for the next days hike but I remembered I had these in my backpack and they performed brilliantly. Kept my feet dry hiking through bogland in already soaked boots.
