Boston Solid Oak 5ft King-size Bed Frame,(220 x 164 x 110 cm)

This is a nice, sturdy and well made bed for the money. Quality is pretty good and easy to fit except instructions are dire and footboard threads need slackening off to enable nuts to fit in place. Only one of the 2 washers supplied actually fits in the recess space? Five stars for the bed but only three for service. Company was very professional and apologetic, however, first footboard arrived damaged [not by courier] but a couple of emails and a replacement was agreed. The replacement arrived and was the wrong size, so 3 nights spent sleeping on the floor. Second replacement ok but then had difficulties with collection of the wrong sized item. I have no doubt this company will continue to do well, as the product is fair value for money and the lady from customer services was certainly polite. I hope that they manage to sort out issues, as other feedback suggests others had similar experiences which rather spoilt things for me.

Bed is beautiful. Study as you would expect with oak.Lost one star due to the awful mess with delivery.Arranged a day but no bed.Rearranged a new date but arrive the day before expected.Very odd.Was incredibly close to cancelling due to delivery issues.

The bed is solid Oak with not an ounce of veneer. That's not the best part however. Their customer service is exceptional. The bed they had sent originally had a broken headboard and when I contacted them with photographic evidence, they promptly offered and sent a replacement headboard.

The bed was ordered and the build quality was just awful, the foot post was covered on dents, chips, terrible gluing and black water like stains!. See photos.The company agreed to refund me. Many hours wasted on this order!!!

We had been looking for a new bed frame, ideally oak. We were purchasing a deep heavy mattress and wanted to ensure it was well supported. Many of the frames we had viewed were either veneered or flimsy or both!After some searching we found this from oak furniture king. The product is definitely as described, solid and no veneers.It is very heavy especially once built. You can build this on your own, but it is a lot safer and easier to ask someone to hold bits when required. There is absolutely no movement in this frame!Oak furniture King's customer service is fantastic, there were a couple of washers missing these arrived in a few days.

This is a very good bed, sturdy and attractive. We had a few problems with delivery. This was delayed for 'logistical' reasons and arrived with damaged packaging. This meant that the instructions for assembly were missing, as was one small piece of the assembly items. We easily worked out how to assemble and the missing part was posted to us with 24 hours of our request.Clearly, if I was just giving stars for delivery only I would give 3 or 4, but the quality of the bed and the ease of assembly justify my 5 stars.

This is a well made solid oak bed with no veneers and the quality is superb, we had some issues with the first delivery being damaged but the customer service was fantastic and we had the damaged item replaced within a week. Be warned this is a 2 man job to assemble, not because its complicated but because this bed is really solid and heavy. If you want a really good 100% solid oak bed (even the slats) then this is the bed for you.
