Works perfectly — quick pairing and solid replacement
This replacement remote worked exactly as advertised for my Toshiba Fire TV. Pairing was quick — I just held the Home button for about 10 seconds, and it connected right away. The voice control feature also works well with Alexa, just like the original remote.The build quality feels almost identical to the OEM version, with responsive buttons and a good feel in the hand. Plug (in batteries) and Play
Purchased to replace the 5 month old remote for my Insignia 43" F30 Fire TV. Worked as soon as I put batteries in it. No programming, nothing, just that simple. You do not need your old remote or anything to program the new for this tv as some require.

Remote saved my life
I did a factory reset of my fire TV because it was running slow. As soon as I did that, my remote refused to pair with the TV. I tried changing the batteries, looking up buttons to reset the remote, pressing multiple buttons on the remote at the same time, and nothing. I called Amazon for troubleshooting and was told to replace my remote with this one. Reading on reddit, I saw many people stating that they had the same issue and were told to replace the remote, which didn't resolve anything. At this point, I was on the verge of just giving up. I put a new TV in my cart and waited for the remote to arrive. To my pleasant surprise, the remote finally paired to the TV! I was able to remove the new TV from my Amazon cart and reset my TV. As a plus, this remote has the speech to text feature and Alexa, which my prior remote did not have. It also has the settings button. I'm glad that for less than $15, I was able to solve my problem and keep my current TV, rather than spending $100 or more on a new one. Christmas just passed and I need to save up and cut back on spending again. THANK YOU!

It works but loud clicking
It connected very easily, follow TV or paper directions. But buttons are very loud clicking. Not too bad during day but very noticeable at night

Being as these remotes only last 6 months to a year if dropped repeatedly. one would think that they could include those cheap batteries they used to always come with
