Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This kit comes with four light strips one of the steps is for the Power socket and remote control sensor three 15cm connector strips, the remote control (battery is supplied) and a USB power lead. The kit is designed to be powered from a USB socket on the back of the TV or Raspberry Pi or maybe a 5v USB Power Wall Adaptor. The LED Strips comes with adhesive backing for installation they are made from a soft silicone and are very flexible with small LEDs. They can be used as a single long strip if needs be. As they can be plugged directly into each other they are supplied already connected. This gives various options depending what size of the TV you have if required for example you could plug two strips together to make strip for the top of the TV with each strip down each side for smaller TVs you could use one strip along each of the edges. You don't need to use all LED strips if you don't want to.To install, you need to remove the back paper from each strip and press it firmly to the back of the TV and then connect them together with the connecting strips as required, making sure that all of the arrows are pointing to 5v each end. Then you connect the USB lead to the USB Port on the TV. Switch on the TV switch on the lights with the remote and job done. You could also use a 5v USB Power Wall adaptor or use a raspberry Pi.The remote lets you select between 16 different static colours, and you can change the brightness as required. There are also strobe options etc.Ive set my LED Strips up on the back of the TV going all around the edge of the back although i did have to use the ribbon extension cables to do the corners. I did plug the LEDs into my TV although i decided to plug them into my Raspberry Pi only because the Pi is on all the time as its used as a Kodi box.Would i recommend these LED strips? Yes i would the USB Power is a nice feature although you can power them up off a iPhone/ iPad power adaptor if you need too.

The kit comprises four 50cm light strips, one of which incorporates the power connection socket and remote control sensor, three 15cm connector strips, the remote control (battery is supplied) and a USB power lead – the kit is designed to be powered from a USB socket on the back of the TV. The four light strips have an adhesive backing for installation – they are made from a soft silicone gel type material, and are very flexible, with small LEDs every 55mm. They can be used as a single long strip if required, as they can be plugged directly into one another (they are supplied already connected), or as individual strips using the connector strips. This gives various options depending on the size of the TV – if required for example you could plug two strips together to make a 100cm strip for the top of the TV, with a 50cm strip down each side, or for smaller TVs you could use one strip along each of the edges. You do not even need to use all of the strips if you don’t want to.To install, you just remove the backing from each strip and press it firmly to the back of the TV, and then connect them together with the connecting strips as required, making sure that all of the arrows are pointing in the same direction. Then you connect the USB lead to the USB socket on the TV, switch on the TV, switch on the lights with the remote, and that is it – job done. The remote lets you select between 16 different static colours, and you can change the brightness as required. Alternatively there are various flashing modes.I have initially installed it using small strips of gaffer tape to fix it to the back of the TV, as I am still experimenting with different layouts. Personally we have decided that we prefer to use the lights with a steady blue colour, and we are finding that using them does improve the viewing experience, not sure why or how, but there does seem to be less glare from the TV - I have added some pictures which show the same picture with and without the light. Once they have been set up they just turn on automatically when the TV is turned on, and the previous settings are maintained.
