Better than cable ties for most things and reusable!
i purchased these as an alternative to cable ties and I was not disappointed. Easy to trim to size or you can link them together for larger diameters. Great idea.

Brill product
First used these last year and have been looking for them since. Very useful, versatile and can be reused. Will replace cable ties in future as can be removed and used again unlike cable ties that have to be cut off. A must for electricians, plumbers etc.

Great once you know how to remove them!
I don't normally write reviews etc. etc., but I thought I'd point out a few facts about these cable straps.Firstly, the 'pack of 96 pcs' is, in fact, two packs of 48 straps.Secondly, they're not exactly loose in each packet - you get eight blocks of six straps stuck together in each pack, so you need physically to rip them apart from one another if you only need to use one. It's not difficult at all, but you'll probably be reluctant to use reasonable tearing force at first because they look rather flimsy. However, after I refused to cut them apart gingerly with a pair of scissors and I just ripped them apart, I discovered they are actually very strong indeed. Very strong, very difficult to damage.Thirdly - and this is the most important point of all - there is one vital piece of information they don't give you about these straps, which is a bad oversight in my opinion: These straps are sold as being reusable. So you test one out by putting it round a bunch of cables or suchlike and feeding the pointy end through one of the strap holes, before pulling it all the way through so it's nice and tight. Good so far. Then you decide to remove it. You try to undo the process by pulling the strap back the way it came, bending and pulling it accordingly. Within a few seconds you'll be so cross with it, you'll wish you'd never bought the things in the first place because they're so fiddly and seemingly impossible to remove.I was on the verge of chucking the whole lot in the bin and complaining to someone in high office, but I thought I'd first do a Google search for "rapstraps" and I came across a YouTube video entitled "Rapstrap™ vs. Cable Ties". This video reveals the fact that you have to feed the pointy end back through the same hole it originally came through, and then you just pull it back through. Effortless.I'm a motorcyclist and I got these straps to tie up some cables on my bike, and now I've found out how to use them I think they're great. Right enough, they're a lot softer and more pliable than regular cable ties and would be less likely to leave marks after removal, in my opinion. Overall - an excellent product let down by poor communications from the manufacturer/seller.

Just not a good tie.
Really, really easy to break. Not really sure what they're good for, it's got to be traditional cable ties for anything that needs to be held firmly.

These are excellent for tying up shrubs and climbers in the garden
These are excellent for tying up shrubs and climbers in the garden. They have plenty of elasticity, and because you can use one tie for several fastenings by cutting off what you don't use, or even reuse the tie (uncut!), they are very economical in use

Great for Trees
We use these with the Community Council to put up Xmas lights in Trees. because they re rubber they expand with the tree allowing it to grow and only need biannual inspection and loosening where needed. Our local Tree Surgeon thinks they are great as it will protect trees from growing around the lights.
