Yarn Organizer

I have been doing needlepoint for years! I use to go to my favorite needlepoint store in Manhattan to buy all my needlepoint accessories. Unfortunately, my beloved Joan passed away many years ago and so I was on the hunt for various needlepoint accessories, especially needlepoint wool organizers. I found a very nice one at Amazon.com. When I received the item, I jumped for joy! Not only is the wool organizer sturdy, not only did I receive my order in a few days, the best part is . . . the wool organizer is number keyed to the kit instructions! No more trying to guess at the corresponding color while needlepointing! Anyone who does needlepoint will attest to getting color blind after a while. Now, all I have to do is check the color key on the canvas and match it to the color key on the organizer. :-)The Butterfly Yarn Organizer is a really great product and I recommend it highly. :-) My only complaint is that it only holds sixteen colors. :-(

I like the organizer but thought that it would have been nice if the whole thing was a bit larger. I bought 2 of them for my needlepoint project since I had so many colors in my kit. I was glad that I found it though.

Great for anyone who has a lot of yarn. My friend found this a great way to condence her yarn bag.

I was very surprised by the large size of these yarn organizers and the diameter of the openings for the yarn! They are finished very well with no snags or sharp edges to catch the yarn like others or the wooden ones. I am also glad I purchased more than one (5 actually) so I can do larger projects and have the luxury of "spreading out" my wool.I would recommend them to needlepointers or tapestry workers.
