They look awesome they are just really light. Possibly anodized aluminum. Part of what bar ends are for is to protect the bike when it goes down I don't feel like this is 1) heavy enough to help with stability and 2) not get grinded away. Kawasaki 500 has a pretty rough bar end to get off and has a thread on the inside. The screw provided with this bar end is too skinny and the hole is way too skinny as well. To get these to fit on a Kawasaki you'll have to drill it out to size and use another bolt with the same thread as kawasaki.

Didn’t fit correctly
Didn’t fit my Zx10 as they should. The rubber grommets that are suppose to hold them in place didn’t fit in the handle bar. When I finally got them in as far as they would go they were so tight that they made the throttle stick. Didn’t work for me but maybe a different bike.
