Does the job it's supposed to do.
These are great headers! I needed round-pinned male headers, since I had a small daughterboard that needed to plug into an IC socket on the main board. The less expensive, more common square-profile headers won't insert into a socket without destroying either the socket or the header. Ask me how I know. 😀 These were perfect, snapped easily to size, and soldered well. On the other hand, if your goal is to attach a cable or wire connector to a PCB, then you'll need the square ones, as the connector won't hold onto these tightly. The trick: make sure you know what you need, and order appropriately.

This is a round pin, not the square pin usually used for shunts or headers
Not what I expected. The round pins are not very secure when shunting or adding a connector. In fact, I can't really find anything that wants to stay on them securely. I have determined I need the square pin for this. The quality is ok and they solder real nice.

They work with DIP-sockets
These header-pins are exactly what I need. They are thinner than the square ones, so they will work with a DIP-socket.
