English Age 6-7: Assessment Papers (Letts 11+ Success)

Letts 11+ Success - English Age 6-7: Assessment Paper (Level 1 & 2) has 22 test papers (45 mins each) in this book. Each test paper has a comprehension section and a grammar section. While I am happy with the grammar elements of these papers, I found the comprehensions contents are quite imbalance - some are right at Level 2, but some are way too hard for my child. IMO, some of the harder comprehension exercises are even more difficult than the next book up: Letts 11+ Success - English Age 7-8: Assessment Paper (Level 2 & 3).Currently, I am using both books together: Letts 11+ Success - English Age 6-7: Assessment Paper & Letts 11+ Success - English Age 7-8: Assessment Paper. It is because my little one can do some exercises from these two books, but not all. So basically, I have to select the suitable papers for my son's level from these 2 books myself, which is time consuming for a working mum.I feel that with better editing, I should be able to save time and money for just one book rather than two. As I have invested in 2 books already, I will be keeping both of them for next year to finish the books.

Good for children who struggle with english. Also has story and questions in it. Good when you want a break from the Bond Assessment papers.

I am recommending this book to all my friends and family. My kids are home schooled and i am using these books to help my kids prepare for their sats.

Good book, probably better for practise rather than for learning. It should be used fr assessment rather than learning new topics.
