Twelve South 12-1402 BookBook Case for iPad Air - Black

It's actually very nice. The only con is the price, just a bit too much. Also is not very comfortable to take pictures, I do not use the iPad's camera very often so that's ok with me, but someone who want to use it to make pics or videos might find it annoying when using this case.Feels nice, the zip I found on mine is good, I read other reviews where they say the zip is cheap and doesn't work nicely. Mine does.Also there is just 2 or 3 positions so if you fancy being able to stand it on a wide variety of positions this one is not for you. But if you want a really cool case, that also feels protective enough for normal commuting, work to home, etc., and looks awesome, then this is the one.Pros: Feels great on your hands, looks amazing, able to close the case COMPLETELY and protect from moist, rain, dust, etc. (up to a limit, it is not water proof), real leather, feels sturdy for what it is (a soft case), its appearance is actually very similar to a book (on a close-up you can see the zip though) and it can be mistaken for one if kept closed and discrete.Cons: Easily scratched if not careful (the outer leather I mean), very uncomfortable to use the back camera, not many choices to change the angle of vision (lack of positioning options), you have to make a little cut for the back camera if you are using the iPad Air 2, and also the speakers won't be perfectly aligned to the holes on the leather if you use the IPad Air 2, things that I don't really mind but maybe you do!

This case looks great - a really quirky covering for my iPad, and a pleasure to use. It's finish is high quality and it really does look just like an old book at first glance! The protection offered is pretty good - if your iPad's going to be in serious peril, it wouldn't cut it, but it's fine for rattling about in a bag or maybe being accidentally dropped off a sofa. I like the two angles it offers you - the propped up for watching TV one is especially good, and feels secure and like it's not going to fall over.. As some reviewers have pointed out, for the iPad Air 2 the hole for the back facing camera is in the wrong position. This would be easy to alter but I didn't bother. The dip for the power button is also slightly off centre - still able, but slightly annoying. Unlike my last case, it's easy to get the iPad in and out of the case without worrying that it's going to snap in half!I've deducted a star because, while a lovely product, it is very simple and I think it's overpriced for what it is - especially in some of the colour ways. However, I'm enjoying using this - it's made my iPad feel more fun to use, especially for reading ebooks.

The creme de creme, the Rolls Royce of iPad covers. By far the coolest and poshest cover on the market. Top quality finish in leather. This is my fourth Book Book cover and I have been impressed every time. They are not cheap, but you pay for a quality finish that is built to last . In addition, 99% of people really think this cover is an old book. I have left them tables of coffee shops while I have gone to the toilet etc and they are always still there when I come back as nobody wants to steel am old book! Finally the last well and you don't have to worry about the wear and tear marks and coffee stains on the outer cover as it's meant to look old and used. Highly recommended six stars :)

Excellent quality and protection. The holes for camera don't quite line on my Air 2, up but to be fair Twelve South do state this on the Web site as it was made for the Air1. Doesn't bother me too much so 5 stars.

custodia eccellente, anche se non priva di qualche piccola pecca, a mio parere merita comunque 5 stelle perché i prodotti Twelve South si dimostrano sempre di una qualità superiore alla media.uso l'iPad ovunque e con questa custodia risulta sempre estremamente sicuro e protetto.la cover è elegante e molto piacevole al tatto ed alla vista.le uniche pecche, a mio parere, riguardano il materiale della tasca interna che fa da alloggiamento all'iPad.la custodia è in vera pelle mentre la tasca interna porta iPad è in ecopelle che, anche se di ottima qualità, non essendo il BookBook un prodotto etico non capisco la motivazione del cambio di materiale che non sia riconducibile ad un risparmio nella produzione.una volta inserito l'iPad risulta avvolto nella sua interezza e nonostante la "tasca" non aderisca perfettamente nella parte frontale-destra non si corre il rischio che "sgusci via" rischiando che finisca in terra danneggiandosi.è possibile inoltre sistemare il dispositivo in più posizioni avendo la sicurezza che rimanga sempre e comunque molto stabile senza il rischio che si rovesci o che crolli su se stesso.ultima annotazione: mi è capitato di dover lavare, ripetutamente per cause di forza maggiore, la cover con acqua corrente e sapone e sono contento nel constatare che ha superato anche questo test "estremo".da acquistare se si desidera un prodotto durevole, di qualità ed elegante.

Acquistato per il mio iPad Air 2, monta molto bene all'interno almeno in apparenza. Bella, di classe, ottimi materiali e rifiniture raffinate, un oggetto elegante e di stile che addirittura abbellisce un dispositivo già al top dell'estetica come l'ipad della Apple. unica pecca a mio parere la difficoltà nell'utilizzo della fotocamera e la posizione innaturale della cover durante la digitazione. Per cambiare la posizione in modalità lettura o digitazione, bisogna staccare da un lato la parte interna della cover, fissata in quel punto da due scomode clips che sono oltretutto molto tenaci da staccare ed attaccare. Sul sito del produttore ci sono alcune FAQ in inglese dove il produttore scrive esplicitamente che la custodia alloggia perfettamente il nuovo iPad air 2 ma con il foro della fotocamera mal centrato e non ha nessun progetto in corso per creare una specifica per iPad Air2. Ma non è l'unica pecca. La cover infatti copre anche i sensori di illuminazione automatica dello schermo che in iPad Air2 si trovano agli estremi della parte superiore della cornice. Questo impedisce la corretta illuminazione del dispositivo in fase di utilizzo. Insomma bellissima come cover ma inutilizzabile per questo tipo di iPad. Ottimo il servizio Amazon che nel giro di pochi giorni mi ha rimborsato l'articolo dopo la restituzione. Penso che le custodie della SENA sono molto più pratiche oltre che belle ed eleganti come questa.

Also als 1 jähriger stolzer Besitzer des Ipad Mini hülle vom twelve south finde ich diese hülle mehr als lächerlich.Habe es für mein Ipad Air 2 gekauft, wo es ja auch kompatibel sein soll.Erstmal sitzt der Fingersensor sehr schief, das heißt die Hülle kommt so weit an den Rand des Fingersensors das ein Teil meines Fingers nicht auf den Sensor sitzt da das Leder den Finger von der Taste hochhält.Aber das größte was mich genervt hat, dass die hintere Kamera von der Hülle verdeckt wird, siehe Bild.Bei einem Preis von stolzen 80€ erwarte ich eine Hülle die 1A sitzt und nicht so ein Mist.

Ich habe schon eine Bookbook-Hülle für mein MacBook Pro, kenne also die Qualität schon - und meine (hohen) Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Ich liebe diese besondere Optik und Haptik der Boobook-Hüllen, die aussehen und sich anfühlen wie ein altes, in Leder gebundenes Buch. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, der Reißverschluss ist leichtgängig. Für mich ein absolutes Must-have - trotz des ziemlich gesalzenen Preises.Ein kleines Manko gibt es allerdings: Die beschränkte Flexibilität. Hochkant gibt es keine sinnvolle Aufstellmöglichkeit, man kann es nur wie ein Buch in der Hand halten (was auf die Dauer etwas anstrengend sein kann). Im Querformat gibt es zwar zwei verschiedene Aufstellmöglichkeiten (leicht geneigt und stark geneigt). Die stark geneigte Einstellung ist meines Erachtens aber nicht gut gelöst, da zu steil (ist leider viel steiler, als in der Beschreibung abgebildet). Daher gibt's von mir einen Stern abgezogen. Dennoch, ein tolles Produkt!Tipp: Wem die leichte Neigung zu schwach ist (z.B. Bei Reflexionen) dem empfehle ich, den Buchdeckel (wie auf der Abbildung) ganz nach hinten umzuschlagen, dadurch wird der Winkel etwas höher.Nachtrag: Für eine zusätzliche Neigung habe ich mir ein schwarzes Kartonkärtchen (22cm x14cm) angefertigt, das ich hinten einstelle.

Ho comprato questa custodia per il mio hipad air cercando un qualcosa di diverso, non una semplice custodia. Inizialmente ero un po' scettico soprattutto per il prezzo, ma una volta arrivato l'oggetto ne ho compreso il perché. Materiale ottimo sia all'esterno che all'interno. Il tablet è veramente protetto e in pochi attimi lo puoi sfilare senza problemi. Una volta chiuso sembra un libro. All'interno ci sono due bottoncini a clip che permettono la stabilità nelle due posizioni di apertura . Che dire oggetto fantastico che consiglio a chi vuole un qualcosa di alternativo. Spedizione e consegna super veloce come sempre by Amazon.Consigliatissimo AAA+++

Il prodotto è arrivato nei tempi previsti. Amazon è sempre impeccabile. Mi piace tantissimo, è fatto veramente bene anche se è un po' troppo costoso a mio avviso. Sono abituata alle cover skin quindi questa mi risulta un po' ingombrante in borsa ma se devo stare in giro e non in ufficio è un'ottima protezione per l'Ipad. E' bellissima.

Una funda que cumple con mis expectativas...muy bonita y práctica con el cierre de cremallera para proteger el IPad...y encima a 44€ que la saque..un buen precio cuando lo normal son 78 u 80€..Perfecto y envío serio como siempre por Amazon.Gracias

Excelente case, después de más de un año de uso sigue funcionando muy bien, protege muy bien el iPad y es muy cómodo de transportar, altamente recomendable

Avevo già lo stesso tipo di custodia per l'iphone e quando si è trattato di scegliere quella per l'ipad non ho avuto dubbi. Ben fatta, robusta e durevole. Protegge bene il contenuto ed è molto bella con questo aspetto da "vecchio libro".

My partner was really happy with his Christmas gift, and it did arrive on time, thank you! The only comment he made was he would have liked it to have an area inside for his phone too, as he carried them together in his last case. Maybe an extra inside separate compartment. All in all though has a lovely look and feel, getting lots of compliments too!

Ich habe diese hülle bereits für mein iPhone und bin auch von der großen Version begeistert, nicht ganz günstig aber toll verarbeitet und immer ein Hingucker.Den fünften Stern vergeben ich nicht weil mir eine mittlere Aufstellfunktion fehlt

Qualität echt nicht gut, ipad rutscht nur rum, fällt sogar mal raus, ich bereue den Kauf. Hatte Jahre lang bookbook Produkte für iPhone wie für das iPad, aber dieses ist wirklich schlecht. Leider ein Fehler gewesen dieses zu kaufen Vor allem bei dem Preis. Fazit BookBook nie wieder....

Utilisé depuis au moins 1 an. Dans l'ensemble il protège très bien l'iPad, car le cuir est assez épais. L'idée d'un ancien livre couvert de cuir est assez sympas, sauf que c'est écrit "Book Book" sur la tranche, ça le fait moins.Il n'est très bien taillé : les bords de l'écran peuvent être difficilement accessible pour slider (centre de notifications et centre de contrôle) et les accès au prises et bouton sont pas forcément pile poil en face (assez gênant pour la prise casque).On est obligé de déplier l'ensemble pour utiliser à la caméra arrière. Le mode "théâtre" (déplié, pour regarder un film par ex.) ne n'est pas très ajustable pour régler l'inclinaison de l'écran. Finalement je me suis rabattu sur un produit concurrent, le Dodocase qui "fit" mieux et intègre un système d'aimants qui permettent d’éteinte ou allumer automatiquement l'écran quand on ferme et ouvre l'étui et permet un ajustement de l'inclinaison pour le mode "théâtre"

Beim Case für iPad 3 war ich nach 2 Jahren Dauernutzung sehr zufrieden. Die Hülle für das IPad air ist nicht ganz passgenau. Es gibt einen häßlichen Rand aufbdem Bildschirm durch die Hülle und die Tasten passen nicht genau. Sonst ok.

Die Verarbeitung ist soweitz in Ordnung, aber die Abmessungen, insbesondere die Aussparung für die Kamera lässt zu wünschen übrig. Das war bei meinen bisherigen BookBooks nicht der Falle, da hat alles gepasst. Auch die Rückenstütze mit den Druckknöpfen könnte etwas höher angebracht sein, das Tablat neigt zum vorkippen.
