Excellent product, i am amazed at how quiet the fan in, it's small and compact and weighs next to nothing, had it on my desk at work and was asked if the fan was on, it was, but no one could hear it, even with it powered by USB its surprising how much of a pocket rocket the fan isit has 2 speed settings, for a small fan its powerful enough to cool me down on the hot summer days we had in the office.recommended product

I bought this fan to keep me cool when I’m lounging around in my room and when I’m sleeping, and contrary to it’s small size, it’s really reasonably powerful. I keep it about four feet away from my bed on my desk and can still feel the air coming from it.My only two criticisms would be that the cord is short – so much so that if I wanted to plug it into an outlet adapter, the cable won’t reach from an outlet on the floor up to a table. The other thing to note is that when placed on certain smooth surfaces, the fan doesn’t stay in place for long. It vibrates and therefore shifts position (maybe that’s just a testament to how powerful it is). I have to keep mine on top of a rough-ish piece of cardboard to get it to stay where I put it.Overall, I think those little faults are a small price to pay for such a cheap, strong little fan!

Ordered this as my office at work is very hot and stuffy, and was sick of sweating all day. Got the idea from some of my colleagues who had similar ones, but theres are nothing compared to this! It's small, light, quiet (not that that matters in a noisy call centre) and powerful, you can feel the effect well at over an arms reach, which is impressive I think for a tiny desk fan. Just ordered another for my mother as she loves it and wanted one aswell. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a little desk fan, not if you're looking to keep a room cool though.

I bought this for my desk at work. The fan is stylish looking and compact enough not to look out of place on my desk. The operation is quiet on the lowest setting which I found to adequate for normal use. There was, however, a big issue with vibration. The fan is significantly out of balance and the unit would walk its way across the desk because it was wobbling to much. It is fitted with rubber feet which meant that no noise was transmitted to the desk, but it was necessary to put it on a mouse mat in order to stop it moving. Also, the USB lead might not be long enough for some people, although it was adequate for me as it was plugged into my computer.It's a nice little fan that is let down by a quality issue.

Really pleased with the performance of this compact desk fan. Two settings both give good quantity of cool air. Very quiet on lowest setting althoughthe higher setting does give off a noticeable sound. I could happily use it on the lower setting at home next to my bed but the higher setting maybe better suited in a office or where there is background noise. Good solid base and tilts very easily. Extension USB cable is a nice long lengh. Would recommend

Brilliant fan for a near unbeatable price.- Good compact size with a nice black gloss finish.- 2 speeds, standard and fast. The latter being slightly louder, but my music covers that easily.- I bought it for around £9 at the time, great bargain.- USB only, so you need to have it plugged in to a computer or such.- Fast delivery, courtesy of amazon (ordered Wednesday, arrived friday.)- Rotates for easy flow angling.I will edit this review if it decides to stop working in the near future. So far, so great! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a small fan to keep cool at the desk.

Actually a pretty decent fan, used predominantly on my desk to cool down while I'm eating lunch post-workout and it certainly does the job. On the higher fan speed setting it can be slightly noisy, especially if you are using it in a quiet workplace but with a minimal amount of background chatter it can barely be heard. No problems with it disturbing phone calls as with other reviews. Overall, great little fan as long as it's not silent and you don't place it more than 2m away.

I bought this too keep me cool during the night as my regular tower fan was too loud.Initially dubious about a 'mini desk fan' powered by USB I thought that my only option was a bladeless fan but considering the good old British summer lasts all of 4 months I couldn't justify the price of one.I took a punt on this based on previous reviews and I'm so glad I did.There's 2 settings, high and low. Low is barely audible and high is still very quiet compared to a regular fan.If you want a small fan that isn't going to wake you/your partner at night or break the bank then this is the perfect solution.
