Beauty Without Cruelty Ultrafine Loose Powder Light

I have been using this face powder for many years and love it. Having no real colour of its own, it is ideal for skin like mine which is the typical sensitive, pale and freckly skin of a red-head. Using the soft pad provided, gently press the powder against cleansed and moisturised skin and lightly dust off to give a thin, even spread - all shine disappears giving a soft, natural, healthy look. You might need to change your moisturiser as you age, but this powder suits all age groups.The best thing about it is the ethics of the BWC. They were the first company to make cruelty-free skin care and cosmetics, so it's good to know I am supporting the original market leader and not harming any animals in the manufacturing or testing process. It just doesn't contain any nasties you have to worry about. Having sensitive skin which easily becomes red and raw if I use anything with chemicals or perfumes, this powder doesn't cause any side effects for me so I would be lost without it.To sum up, the ethics of the company matches the quality of the product. I highly recommend this face powder.

The colour of this loose powder is light with a hint of peach in tone. Unfortunately, it made my foundation look orange and dry (I use L'Oreal True Match 1C Rose Ivory). If you have oily skin then this might be good but the finish is too matte for a dry and older skin. On the plus side, t is a nice texture, no fragrance and nicely packaged. I loved the twist slide which exposes the powder shaker holes on one side which can be closed again - a clever design for less mess and waste. So, my search to find a replacement for the old (discontinued 2022) Boots No 7 Perfect Light Loose Powder goes on...

I love this product as it is cruelty free. I would recommend ( I'm a beauty therapist of 40 years and counting)this product to anyone who has oily spotty skin as it has kaolin powder in it ingredients, kaolin is is good for absorbing oil and for sensitive skins and oily spotty skins are both of those . It can be used on mature/dry skin but it is best applied with the puff that it comes with and then brushed well with a clean dry brush because if you don't buff it well after you apply it you will look chalky and dry and it will sit in lines but if you polish it then use a setting spray it should give you a long lasting finish.I found the price competitive and the product arrived promptly, I will be using it again as part of my kit going forward.

Although I appreciate the eco friendly aspect of low packaging, I did wonder if it had already been opened by someone else as there is no hygiene seal of any sort and the powder was on the pouffe already and the jar lid was a little marked - just hoping it isn't someone else's reject........ I haven't tried the powder yet - presuming it's good stuff. Haven't used BWC for years but it was of a reliable quality.Perhaps a thin vegetable plastic sealing strip or grease proof paper inner seal please BWC.....

This is a sheer powder, which is vegan and cheap. I haven't had an adverse reactions from wearing it. Would definitely purchase again.

This is the perfect loose powder for anyone looking for a talc-free product. You only need a tiny quantity and it gives a lovely light finish, which isn't at all drying. The price is excellent and the translucent shade is truly colourless, so it should suit most people.

I have been using BWC fair translucent ultrafine loose powder for almost 9 years since that is how long I've been an ethical vegan and it is a phenomenal product that also improves my skin and help keeps it clear. I have NO idea why bwcshop.com in England (Ultra Glow Cosmetics Limited UK) STOPPED sending it to their distribution center in Wisconsin USA (Lotus Brands, Inc) because now I can't even order it from them or on bwcshop.com since they don't ship to the USA. However, it costs only the equivalent of $20 USD for 2 powders on bwcshop but a seller on Amazon is charging around $60 (with tax) for 2! Also, customer service for BWC shop/ Ultra Glow UK has NOT replied to my last email asking them to restock these powders again at Lotus Brands in Wisconsin. And if NOT then take them off the Lotus website since they aren't actually in stock because it gives women fake hope they can make an order. Good luck emailing Ultra Glow because they truly do NOT care about their customers. Too bad they can't be given 0 stars. If you are in a country that Ultra Glow does not ship to like I am, the only other place to get BWC cosmetics is on Amazon's UK website.

I have used this product for many years. I loved it from the beginning because it is so light and translucent. It is the only powder I use, no other make-up. I love it.
