Only lasted 8 months
This worked great until it didn't. Unfortunately, it died after about 8 months.

Overpriced and bad customer service
I have my work laptop and my gaming PC hooked up to my monitor (1440p@144hz). It worked fine for about 6 months. Then all of a sudden, switching back to my PC from my laptop wouldnt work. I'd have to unplug my monitor, do a ritual, and plug it back in and it would work. After about a month of that, even that stopped working. Now this is a very weird issue. Only my gaming PC to my monitor wouldnt work. Both ports on the KVM worked. If I used a different monitor, it worked. I tried everything I could think of to troubleshoot. Lowered the resolution/fps on my monitor. Wiped and reinstalled GPU drivers. Reset the KVM. Even redid Win10. None of it fixed it. When I reached out to support, they asked for my order number. Well, when I got this product, there was a mistake on Amazons end. They charged me twice and so refunded one of the charges, but in my Order History, it says the product was refunded. Because of this, CKL Support wouldnt help me, because the product was refunded. As far as they were concerned, I got refunded and didn't send the item back (which isn't possible, the refund would have been cancelled). They simply would not budge and just kept accusing me of not returning the item. Worst CS I've had to deal with. Considering this product is $170, I definitely would not buy this again. There are better KVMs for half the price.

Mouse and Keyboard don't switch
This looked like the perfect solution to my situation: I have a desktop computer for my music studio and a laptop for work. I wanted to be able to switch between the two easily but keep the same monitors/keyboard/mouse. While switching the monitor between the two computers works well, I can only get the mouse/keyboard to be recognized on one of the two switch settings. It appears that the device has a separate usb connection for mouse and keyboard and the manual shows wired kb and mouse. I have a wireless kb and mouse which use a single usb device to connect. Anyway, at this point, it looks like I will have to move my wireless usb kb/mouse between computers. Not what I expected or what was explained in the documentation.

Simple to use, few drawbacks.
I purchased this device to share mouse, keyboard, and monitor between two computers--a desktop and laptop computer. My desktop and monitor have both HDMI and DisplayPort (DP) capability. The laptop, on the other hand, is more limited. It only has HDMI.I chose this KVM because it supports 2160x1440p @ 144hz, the same as my desktop. This KVM only has DP inputs. No biggie, I'll just get an adapter to convert DP to HDMI and my laptop should be fine.So purchase this KVM and an adapter to convert DP to HDMI. It arrives, plug it in. Desktop works fine out of the box. Laptop only has mouse and keyboard control--no video. I also noticed that my keyboard and mouse do not work in the USB 2.0 ports on the front of the KVM. They must be plugged into the USB 3.0 ports instead. No biggie here also--more on this later.Ugh. Thinking the video issue could be related the cable and/or adapter, I purchased another cable which has the proper connections (DP to HDMI) in hopes to eliminate the adapter. When it arrives, I plug it in. However, unfortunately, the same thing occurs. I still have keyboard and mouse control on the laptop but but no video output. Therefore, I reached out to their support department. I nearly immediately received a reply. They were very helpful and suggested that I need a *powered* DP to HDMI adapter. This adapter converts DisplayPort to HDMI and would also consume another USB port to power the adapter. Through our conversation, I became edified. Direction of communication within the cable matters. Some cables can only communicate in a single direction (uni-directional) and others can communicate in both directions (bi-directional). The cables and adapter I purchased were uni-directional but in the wrong direction. This was the cause of my video issue. It was not sending video from my laptop to the KVM. Therefore the technical issue was due to my ignorance and not the KVM itself. Fixed. One final thing, the KVM has a "hotkey" feature. This allows you to double click your middle mouse button or a key combo on the keyboard to switch displays. In addition to switching displays, there is an audible beep when you switch inputs. These "hotkeys" can handle both the switching of inputs as well as disable the beeping if you choose. However, I cannot do either of these because the hotkeys are only available in the USB2.0 ports, not the USB3.0 ports per support. My keyboard and mouse are not recognized in the USB2.0 ports in the front. Therefore, I must live with the audible beep and must switch inputs manually. I suppose I can live with that. I have a Razer Deathadder optical mouse and a Ducky One mechanical keyboard, nothing very fancy. That is unfortunate, so a point off of a perfect score for this.Wish there was a software solution for either of these--a remap of hotkeys and a way to disable the beep.

Works great on my 4k 144hz monitor
This is a great KVM setup for my 38" 4k monitor. It runs the gsync (compatible) 144hz signal without a hitch, with usb3 and audio working seamlessly. The (wired) remote is also a nice addition.

Good HDMI switching; USB, not so much; finally dead?
I bought this unit about 16 months ago. It served me mostly well.HDMI switching has always worked well. There have been some issues with my docking-station not recognizing my displays; but that's the fault of the docking-station, and solved by power-cycling this switch.USB switching has always been faulty. - I had no use for the built-in hotkey-switching feature and disabled it immediately - the hub-side USB ports are both on the front -- inconvenient -- and both have always been flaky; sometimes working, sometimes not, depending on the angle of the cords. (Faulty connection on the PCB? Cheap socket?)After 16 months of light office use, this unit has finally died (?). HDMI switching continues to work -- but USB switching has died completely, and the unit is getting hotter and hotter the longer I leave it powered-on.I do not know that I will be replacing it.

Very happy with the product
I initially bought a TESmart KVM seemed to have better reviews, but it failed after about 6 months. I contacted TESmart who couldn't fix it remotely and made me post it to China. They said they would give me a refund, never saw a cent and gave up after dozens of emails to them. So no KVM and also down the cost of postage back to China, not happy. They say the real test of a product is it's support and TESmart failed big time. This KVM is smaller, neater, works better and so far no need to call for support after multiple months of use.Dislikes: Every so often when you switch between computers the KVM only picks up one of the two monitors, if you power off/on the KVM, it all comes good though. I also found the Bluetooth USB receiver for my wireless keyboard / mouse does not work in the Keyboard / mouse slots, but seems to work fine in one of the normal 2.0 USB slots. (I didn't check the instuctions, so maybe that's how it works.)Overall, very happy and would highly recommend this product over the poor service and product from TESmart.

Keyboard non-responsive
While monitors and mouse worked flawlessly the keyboard interface fails regularly. Either a key locks on until you hit another key, or keys are unresponsive. This is intermittent, but enough to be annoying. My unit is basically unusable, so I'm chucking it out and getting a different brand.

Failing after 5 months
I'm extremely disappointed that after five months of use, the switch isn't working correctly with my laptop (it is completely fine with my PC though). During the last month, one of the two monitors won't stay connected and sometimes both. It also sometimes loses connection with the mouse and keyboard. This has been extremely problematic for me as my laptop is my work computer.Sometimes the remote also doesn't work, I have to press the button multiple times before it will actually switch.

Poor quality
I ran into huge resolution issue with this KVM and my keyboard kept having weird bug. One minute it was working fine and the other it started executing shortcuts instead of typing characters.

0 stars (Why do i have to select one?) - Did not work out of the box
Plugged 2 PCs in, all according to the 'manual'. Just a slow flashing of the 'Select' button and a low beeping sound.Crap IMHO
