Super handy flush-cut saw for dowels and such, also excellent for small wood crafts
This is a Gyokucho flush-cut saw. It has Japanese-style crosscut teeth and no set. The size is roughly that of a steak-knife and the blade is quite flexible such that the handle can be tilted upward to clear the work surface when you are trimming off a dowel to surface level and such.Because it is so small it is easy to store and doesn't clutter the bench. Gyokucho is an excellent brand and this little saw is very high quality, remarkable for the price, made in Japan. It is also a good size for making relief cuts for (hand-sized) wood carving or for wood model making. I have three of them now in different tool kits and they work great. I would definitely recommend.

Great Japanese pull saw for detail cuts.
I actually purchased this saw for my RC Plane hobby, I was looking for a small pull saw that would give me a thin Kerf cut on balsa, thin plywood, spruce and such. This saw is fantastic for the price and the kerf is REALLY thin. I'm also confident that at some point since I also do wood working, this little saw will come in quite handy as its really made for flush cutting, thus is why the blade is so flexible. HOWEVER, if you're looking for a traditional "Pull Saw" for doing things like dovetail joints etc., this is NOT the saw you want nor is it the saw for cutting off a chunk of lumber/hardwood and trying to get a straight cut. I think the negative reviews are from people that bought the wrong tool, in this case THIS particular saw, for the job.

Fine cut, very sharp.
Great for luthier needs like sawing peg ends and other fine cuts where you can’t risk chip out (or break out) on the last few millimeters of the cut.

Saw
It’s a leather saw. I’ve been cutting 5/16” cedar floor boards with it. Works great for that it could be a little stiffer. I don’t knows about no leather

Handy flush cutter
Convenient size and shape. I use it for everything from cutting dowels off to cutting the tabs left by the CNC. Not a keyhole saw, but could be used as one. No set to the teeth ensure a smooth finish.

Amazing saw
It's small and great for hobby work. The cut is extremely thin, probably less than .020" and is super sharp.
