I order this product around July 7th. it is now August 19th and the product has stopped functioning. We have never submerged the product in water and spent a good amount of time doing our best to ensure we cleaned it with the utmost care.Sadly, as you can see by that date, the refund window is gone. Earlier this week it started with it not changing over to "keep warm" and would burn rice. It has probably lasted me the least of any rice cooker I've ever owned.

Not really for Travel unless you have an inverter.
I bought this product because it was supposed to be a travel rice cooker. Imagine my surprise when it only came with a plug for a wall, and not a 12v car adapter. The rice measuring cup was also split and broken.

Not for the serious rice eaters .
I have and use high end (made in Japan) National and Zojirushi rice cookers. I was looking for a "half-cup" cooker. At $50+ dollars I thought this would be a quality item.1) the bowl does not come out of the unit - so you have to wash your rice in a separate bowl and then pour it into this rice cooker.2) Within 2 minutes of turning this thing on - it started spewing gooey rice juice out of the lid vent which ran down the sides of the pot, into the light indicators, then the on button, and finally my counter, where the juice made a nice pool of paste to be wiped up.3) The cooking cycle did not auto shut off - so after watching this thing spew for about 45 minutes, I popped the top and the rice was gooey - too much water per the instructions and measurement, and was starting to burn to the bottom of the pan.I figured this thing has a life expectancy of about 4 cookings - what a piece of Junk -I have the Zojirushi NS-TSC10 ($160) that will do a "half-cup" of either white or brown rice and would suggest this model to others. Has the retractable cord, so you don't scratch your teflon bowl storing a cord inside the rice cooker.
