Nobel Otoko Ume Candy 2.8oz (3 Pack)

I can hardly find these anywhere in person, so finding them here for a pretty good deal is awesome! this otoko-ume (or "manly" ume) is intense, and very flavorful. If you've had other umeboshi candies before, this brand is like the final boss. the outer coating of salt is very strong, but I think it only enhances the tart and unique plum flavor. I've looked for something similar, but the taste really is unique. I think I personally prefer the fruit strips this brand makes, but these are amazing if you have a soft spot for hard candy, especially in the size offered.

If you're looking for Umeboshi candy, this one is perfect. It's the perfect balance of not too sweet or sour/salty. It has a very good ume flavor that isnt overwhelmed by the slight sweetness and is worth the price as well.
