Unfortunately our old beagle is in the last stages of bladder cancer so it’s necessary for him to wear the male band. These diapers are very roomy, have sturdy elastic to keep the cloth snugged up and are absorbent. The Velcro is very wide and so strong it could probably be used to hold a grizzly up if letterman ever revives his Velcro wall again on late night TV. That being said, these things will shred anything that you put in the washer and dryer with them. Even when I reattach everything and make sure it’s folder Velcro to Velcro, one small portion will come loose and attach itself to whatever else is being laundered. I started putting them in an old pillow case and knotting it securely before washing. They literally chewed their way out of not one, but two pillow cases. Remember that one textbook that Harry Potter had to buy on monsters and the thing chased him around the room chewing and gnashing it’s teeth? Yeah, well it’s distant relative lives on as absorbent dog diapers.

I bought these for both of my dogs. One is a 10 mo old puppy who continues to mark in the house even though he's outside frequently. My 10 year old dog will sometimes pee in the kitchen at night instead of waking me up. I thought it was going to be an issue getting these on my boys. But the 10 mo old actually comes to me when I say lets get your britches on! He really likes them. And, because he likes them, my grumpier older dog likes them because he's getting something too. Only 2 days in, but no marking in the house-just a dribble in his belly belt and no surprise dog pee in the kitchen. I read these don't actually cause behavior's to quit-but I'm going to test that point out in a month from now.

I loved the workmanship and fun prints of the Bitty Paws Male Dog Diapers and would have liked to give them 5 stars. However, according to the size chart listed my toy breed dogs needed size small. When they arrived I found they were way too big. I had to overlap the Velcro so far that there was very little actually of it actually sticking to itself. Also, they were so wide that they covered 2/3 of the dogs’ underbellies, almost to just behind the front legs. I sent them back and re-ordered the diapers in an extra small. I will review them when they arrive.

Unfortunately it was a bad choice, the belt works and my mean (when left alone) puppy pees inside instead of on a furniture, but the whole thing is soaked in pee and multiple washes won’t help. The urine smell will last, probably forever so no sense to use it again cuz he will smell like pee after wearing it, even if he doesn’t do anything inside. Regret the purchase

These diapers are made with good quality however they tend to slide around my dog despite wrapping them around tightly. The velcro is very loud and the diaper itself is very tough to take off. That is also a good thing because the diaper does not ever come apart. The diaper does slide around too much though.
