A step above the standard peeler
I tend to use Euro peelers simply because it's what I'm accustomed to, and this one from KitchenAid has been a pleasure to use. It has a good, solid construction and an ergonomic handle that fits well in the hand and is comfortable to hold even 20 potatoes deep. The best feature is the sharp, serrated edge on the blades. It bites into fruit and vegetable skins to make peeling a breeze. I feel that it also makes the peels less likely to stick to the steel. High quality product, with good value for the money.

SO OR SO
I had high expectations for the KitchenAid Classic Euro Peeler, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to them. While it does get the job done, there are a few significant drawbacks that make it hard for me to fully recommend this product.Pros:Sharp Blade: The blade is indeed sharp, which makes peeling fruits and vegetables relatively easy.Sleek Design: The black color is stylish and adds a modern touch to the kitchen.Cons:Uncomfortable Grip: The handle, despite its ergonomic design, feels a bit too small and uncomfortable for my hand. After a few minutes of use, I started to feel some discomfort, which made peeling less enjoyable.Too Lightweight: The peeler feels flimsy, and the light weight means you have to apply extra pressure to peel thicker skins, which can be frustrating.Blade Dullness: After a few uses, I noticed the blade started to lose its sharpness, making it less effective. It’s definitely not as durable as I hoped. Conclusion: The KitchenAid Classic Euro Peeler might be fine for basic peeling tasks, but for those who want a more comfortable, durable, and premium tool, this one might fall short. Its uncomfortable grip, lackluster blade durability, and lightweight feel make it less than ideal, especially for regular use.

Nice
I know its a Euro peeler because when i us it I start singing songs in German or french. No Dutch yet but am hopeful. Works well, looks stylish. Doesn't aggravate my tennis elbow or carpal tunnel. Overall a win-win.Ok, it has a solid grip. haven't had it long enough to see how durable it is. It does a great job. I recommend it highly.

Great, but be careful
This peeler is sharp and peels everything....including your fingers..LOL, so be careful. For most things I peel in the direction that goes away from me, but some items I peel towards me..NO, not with this peeler. I've cut myself several times. Having said that, I MUCH prefer it for celery as it does a better job than the older Kitchen Aid peelers.
