The Evidence Study Bible: NKJV: All You Need to Understand and Defend Your Faith

Bible itself I Love it so much I ordered several. Clear titles. Easy to read. Sometimes the added commentary seems like it’s part of a verse but it’s easy to figure out once you get used to it. You can use it without that added commentary just fine also.Now The small book that came with it I am not a fan of it’s just to hard to understand and boring.

I honestly love this bible. Where can I start? Lets me start off saying this bible is great for kids! I'm not a kid but if I was I would really enjoy this bible because of the lay out of it and the facts Ray gives. I'm 25 years old and I was skeptical but since watching Ray Comfort on YouTube and doing his evangelism class at my church, I was drawn to buy this bible. I was curious! I honestly didn't know what was in it. Lets start off with Matthew. You start off with the word of God. On the very bottom of the page, Ray writes in for Matthrew 1:1, Some point to the different genealogies of Jesus as "errors" in the bible. However, Matthew gives the paternal genealogy of the Messiah (through his legal father), and Luke 3:23 gives His maternal genealogy (though His mother). Next page he has certain verses in BOLD. Than on the bottom, he writes his commentary. Some of the commentaries are quotes from famous Christian pastors, or talk how the passage is true. Like Matthrew 1:20-23- Some say this was not a "virgin" but merely a "young maiden". Isaiah 7:14 says that God himself will give a "sign". A young maiden becoming pregnant is not a sign from God, but an everyday occurrence. A virgin conceiving is a supernatural sign. See also Luke 1:31-35. He has commentaries though out the whole bible of how to defend the faith and talks about very important truths like repentance and salvation. When you get to Matthew 4, Ray has a whole page about Archaeology and History Attest to the Reliability of the Bible. He quotes from people, such as Richard M. Fales in this case. Than around the sermon on mount. Ray goes into further detail about it. He dedicates a whole page and half to Jesus sermon. He quotes from passages all over the bible as well. Than he has a section called Points for open air preaching. It's really good. IT's to long to write but it's good incite. RAY helps you to defend the word when questions arise. IT's all over in the bible. I love how he explains science and why God is the creator of all things. He does this in genesis. He has crafts and charts that explain things really easy but in a truthful way. Than he has lots of sections with notes such as he has a section called, Spiritual Nature of the Law and it goes into the law of God and etc. Basically how he teaches when hes preaching. And than he has sections that say, questions and objection and this is all over the inside of the bible. He also has black and white pictures in the beginning of each book in the old testament and though out of major events that took place like Moses opening up the red sea. He has a section for Principles of growth for the new and growing Christian. He has little quizzes too. He gives lots of examples and charts showing stuff such as the how long Jesus in the tomb. he'll show a picture describing it. There are so many great things in this bible that its overwhelming. The bible is not a kjv. It's a Nkjv. Also he'll show where all the prophecies in the old testament came true in the new. He has an index. And a timeline at the end of the bible with pictures. OH and I almost forgot. He has all the other religions though out the whole bible that explains why it is a false religion and how to witness to them like it has a whole three pages of Islam explaining their religion and beliefs. And it goes in depth. This bible is packed with really neat and great stuff. IT's to much to write but I do recommend this bible to all age groups.

This Bible is as pictured and described. I love it. I highly recommend.

I have a number of Bibles but this is my favorite. Easy to understand, full of answers to so many logical & ethical questions growing Christians have. Emphasis is placed on Evangelism, how to reach the lost. Where should you start reading? Start in John, then Matthew, Mark & Luke. This makes a great gift to anyone also. Now stop reading reviews and buy it.

My eyesight is not real good. The print is small but I can handle with a magnifying glass. I am excited to delve into these two books. As always, Amazon does a good job wrapping up their sent products, safely received.

Easy to read with relevant commentary that I trust is true to Scripture. Highly recommend.

A friend recommended this Bible to me; after he told me about the people that were involved in publishing this Bible, I didn't hesitate a minute to order one. This Bible, while the KJV, is, indeed a "Comfort-able" Bible. It gives insight into how to deal with non-believers, political and social issues from nay-sayers, etc. There is a huge "How to use this Bible" section in the front, as well as a great endorsement from Kirk Cameron. Ray Comfort's Preface is a great "beginning" to understanding how he came to compile this Bible so that believers and non-believers or new Christians can answer whatever questions they might have about our Lord and "being a Christian" in today's world.The Bible arrived in great condition; "NEW" as promised and the transaction was great, too. The Bible arrived much sooner than I had expected; price was less than I could get it in a Christian book store (if I could have found it there). Thanks! Enjoy this Bible!

I am not an evangelist but I should be if I want to call myself a Christian. This Bible is full of helpful hints, tips, quotes etc. I think it will be just what I need to be a little more prepared. If only the Bible was available in my favourite translation (KJV) it would get 10 stars! Thank you Ray, for reminding me that God has already given me my purpose in life and that I should reach out to this dying world.

I bought the paperback version for cost reasons but the outer cover is not of a great quality in it's feel, the pages are somewhere between the old style rizla paper feel of a traditional bible and that of a good quality paper.The words of Christ are not in red and the whole book is printed in black and white including any illustrations within. There is no introduction to each of the books of the bible as you get with some versions, there is also no concordance at the back for quick reference.If you wish to use this strictly for apologetics or evangelism then this is fine as it is filled with Way Of The Master hints and tips, answers to questions and objections most of which can be found on their website anyway...that said it is good for those who, as I say, want to evangelise.. I am unsure of using it as my every day read though.

Although I always enjoy reading Ray Comfort's books I had to return this Bible as the print was now too small for me to read. It is no good for anyone with eye/reading problems.

Fantastic bible learn so much from it

I bought this Bible for a new convert that I am having discipleship classes with. It is exactly what I needed! Throughout the margins, one will find fantastic commentary, statistics and quotes. It's almost as if there is an instructor present at all times. I recommend this to any jealous Christian.
