Standard in HVAC work
Not sure exactly what it is (thick oil, silicone grease?) but HVAC techs swear by it so bought it. I think it works by helping the two metal surfaces of a flare slide and align as you tighten the nut. May also permanently fill micro-gaps in the metal surfaces since feels a bit gummy, at least to contain current refrigerants and oil.

Mini split necessity
Installed a couple mini splits and used this stuff. I didn't have any leaks so I guess this works. Note that I cut the original flares off first, put brand new flares, then use this product.

Works as advertised
Helped seal the flares of my new lineset after having to move my mini split AC. Was recommended in all of the videos I watched in order to do this job myself

The best stuff ever
This stuff is exactly as good as people say. Put it on once, vacuumed the lines with no leaks, charge the line with no leaks, ran the system for hours - no leaks. I'll never use anything else.

It's clear not blue
I was shocked when it was clear not blue. So I "asked Rufus" what color it is supposed to be. Rufus said it is blue so I thought maybe I got a bad batch. Well Rufus is wrong, it is actually clear.

Must have for mini split installs!!
Used this on my Pioneer mini split install. Sealed it up perfectly and held a vacuum. Reviews speak for themselves, this stuff just works.

Best fitting sealer on the market.
This stuff will seal up pretty much any fitting. It worked on some cheap worn out AC recharge hoses that had messed up seals, they sealed up and held a vacuum.
