good value, good size pellet, cats like it
I have two very picky siamese cats when it comes to their food and each has it's own preferred brand and flavor. I was surprised that they both like this one. I think it is not only the taste but that they are smaller pellets and easier to eat than many other dried brands. And this is a good value as well. Win, win.

If your cat likes salmon give this a try!
Our cat had issues with chicken...so onto other things we tried...no luck! Finally I tried Salmon! WINNER WINNER! Purina ONE had chicken meal in it, so I gave this one a try and the cat loved it! Senior female had more energy, more social, cote was shiny and soft! So far 0 side affects! I appreciate Amazon for carrying this food at a decent price!

My cats are no longer throwing up or having bowel problems.
This is the only food I feed my three cats. My cats were having issues with other brands of dry and wet food. My vet had given me other brands to try including prescription brands. We would transition them over slowly but they kept having bowl problems and throwing up. I did a lot of research and decided on trying the Rachel Ray food. They have not had one issue since I changed them to this brand several months ago. And my pickiest eater absolutely loves it. I only give them the dry Rachel Ray food now.

My cat has a food allergy
I have a young cat (sept 2023) who's about a year and a half old now and about a year ago (feb 2024), he started having some issues with swelling in his mouth. I got him from the local humane society from a borderline hoarder situation. I did not expect him to have health issues though.Turns out he has Feline eosinophilic granuloma complex. He had had several outbreaks for lack of a better term and recovered from them all fine, but then (july 2024) he had this pop up again and get worse until it was infected, requiring of that visit, which is where he was diagnosed with this complex. The vet was just happy to jab him and send me on my way, so it wasn't until Nov 2024 after two more visits for the same situation that I got a vet to work with me who suggested changing my cat's food and doing an elimination diet, stating that it's usually caused by a food allergy. And it's typically protein based. We were already eating rachel ray cat food to begin with and I have two other cats. The first time it was suggested to do this elimination diet, it was actually just one vet who said completely switch to this HP food that was like $150 a bag. Well, with three little mouths to feed, that was not something I could do. Instead of working with me, I'm trying to figure out what he was allergic to this vet said, just switch entirely. I couldn't do it so I waited it out.And the next bet I saw sad to pay attention to what's in the food and eliminate. Wait and see. He cited that typically chicken was the culprit. So this began my search for a cat food that did not have chicken or turkey or their byproducts. Because if they're typically allergic to chicken, they will be to turkey.I got so incredibly lucky that this Rachel Ray cat food the salmon and brown rice does not have any chicken or chicken byproduct. It does have chicken fat, which I was told was okay, because it's not the same as protein in chicken. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. And so far knock on wood, my sweet little boy has not had any swollen mouth or any ulcers since changing foods. I wish there were more lines of food and brands of food that were affordable for these purposes. I had been regularly getting from a local pet shop but when I went there they were out so I had to turn to amazon. Which was a lifesaver, because my 3 cats go through about 12 to 14 pounds of food in 6-8 weeks and I was two days out from being totally out of food.I had no problems transitioning from their former rachel ray food with chicken to this one salmon and brown rice. I do always read the labels because I know recipes can change. So far, everyone has agreed in my house that they like this food. It's on the more affordable side, if you're on a budgetVs spending double or triple the amount for a very small portion of food.I cannot attest for the taste because I'm not eating cat food. It smells like you would expect, and it's crunchy. The pieces are small and round and are the same as my previous Rachel Ray food, so that was not a change at all for them.

I’ve bought other Nutrish flavors. My cat seems to like this flavor the best. The price was good.

Good quality pet food, horrible delivery.
The bag of cat food was torn and the box it came in had ripped sealing tape. Plus, UPS left the box out in the rain by the gate instead of putting it on my porch. It's good quality pet food, but delivery of it is terrible.
