Not Perfect but Does the Job
I ordered these because I was going on a 9-day vacation and had a few medium sized plants that I didn't want to move for the house sitter to water. A couple bulbs were imperfect and had smaller, almost sealed, openings but they could be cut bigger fairly easily. I only needed a few, so I just used the ones with unimpaired openings. I used two for my bigger plants and one for my smaller ones and that seemed to work well. I've had trouble in the past with water being unable to seep into the soil, but all except for one bulb (in a plant with two bulbs) were empty when I returned. All my plants lived and none had yellowed or wilting leaves. If your trip is longer than 9 days I might recommend bigger bulbs or using 2-3 per plant. Overall, there were some imperfections expected from cheaper plastic options, but they work as intended.

Quality Control is subpar
I love water bulbs (I drown my plants otherwise) and these were a decent price, however 4 of the 8 were poorly cut (bottom opening not fully cut open from the plastic mold). They are difficult to fill with water. The heavy duty plastic (pro) is impossible to cut with scissors (con in this case). Probably could cut them with a more powerful cutting tool but I do not have one and refuse to buy one just for this. Docked a star for that. Otherwise they work fine and do as they should.

Smaller than I wanted
I didn’t check size and is really too small. Prefer glass which I already have and about twice the size. (See left one in picture.) But I am going to try to see how it works.

Easy to use and convenient while away on vacations.

Poor quality
I knew they were plastic, but the quality is very poor, they are stripy and hard to see through. Not impressed.

Didn’t like. Cheaply made and I think the water just drained out altogether as soon as I put it in.
