These Dashcams have internal battery, which allows recording to continue for up to 30 seconds after power-loss. I am disappointed with this product. Basically, it is just a bundled DrivePro 250 and DrivePro 10 dashcams. They communicate with each other via WiFi. There is no option to connect them both via USB. The consequence is that you can't change the default SSID and password. This means that anyone with a DrivePro app can mess with your dashcam and spy on you inside the car. They can download all your videos; they can erase everything. What a big disappointment! Their firmware could have been designed in such a way that the password can be changed after the initial setup.

I like Transcend, i used the earliest version for 6 years before battery gave up. But keep plugging it makes it still work. I even recommended it with my sister. But this model gave up after 2 months. Trying to contact transcend for warranty and potential repair or replacement.
