A Bit Clumsy
The design of this bowl is innovative and seemingly practical. It keeps the cat's water bowl full, and also has a removable bowl for food. Unfortunately, I seem to knock the detachable bowl into the bottle when I am placing it in the unit. This causes water to go all over the place, as the bottle starts to refill the (now spilling) water bowl. I should not hold the product responsible for my clumsiness, but the design seems to promote such mishaps. But it's a decent product, and well made.

This dish cannot be used by itself, it needs an empty 1-liter bottle as the water reservoir. Screw the dish (after first removing the separate piece) upside down onto the bottle, then quickly and smoothly turn right-side up by swinging the whole unit around with water dish side last. You'll get the hang of it!I've used these for years and was very happy to find them on Amazon. Now if I could just find them in a variety of colors!

Know what you're getting...
The product works as advertised, but it is a smaller unit thatn I was expecting. It won't hold the bigger 2-Liter bottle others do. Instead, it takes the 1-liter size. The food bowl is small, too.This is an ideal unit for those who feed their cat wet food or who have regular feeding schedules. If you have multiple cats, get one for each. If you are looking for something to leave a day's worth of dry food in -- especially in a multi-cat household -- look for a larger unit.

Simple design works OK I guess for providing food and water... The water bottle holder DID NOT work for us and our 16.9 ounce Aquafina bottled water containers. I just pour water into the water area.

I still love it.
I've been looking for one of these for a while in stores, and could not find one. This was not only priced right, but after a month of use, I still love it.

Good watering/food dish
This is a great little, portable system. It can hold enough food for one or two feedings, and a one liter bottle dispenses enough water for the day.
