Great product even for long haired furbabies
I was quite apprehensive ordering & using this on my Persian Cat. I've always used some type of conditioning long haired formula. He is an indoor furbaby so exposure to flees has never been an issue. One of our dogs stayed with a friend for a few days so their kids could see what talking care of one entailedled (Christmas IS around the corner:) about 1 week or so after getting that furbaby back poor Minchichi was scratching and I saw flea eggs. This shampoo was great! It doesn't smell as though it has anything in it to kill those nasy little things. It lathered well & rinsed away very well. I bathed him last night & brushed him the next day. Not only did I not see any of those nasty fleas or their eggs. His coat was soft and shiney. I didn't need additional conditioning spray to get through all his fur. This is a great shampoo for any breed I'd have to say. It seems gentle enough to use whenever a bath is needed.

Worked purrfectly
Scent is not over powering. Very thin shampoo, which made for easier rinsing. Worked great. No more fleas. Though cats were not happy getting a bath. Though they did seem to like the non itchiness after their bathes.

My preferred over the counter flea shampoo
Pleasantly scented but strong, easy to work into a lather in short fur, and seems to work well on flea dander compared to other drugstore brands. Leaves my cats with soft fur and helps with the seasonal fleas.Keep in mind this isn't going to get rid of a flea problem, it just helps. We use it for cleaning mostly, for flea treatments it helps in combination with actual flea meds. Activyl and Bravecto are the brands we use.

Awesome Cat Shampoo!
Time to give the cats a bath!I have used this shampoo before on my previous cat & currents cats.I love the smell of the coconut & berries. My cats do not like to take abath but they need to be clean so in they go. After their bath they smellvery good & clean. Also their fur is shiny & very soft and fluffy. The bottle& design has changed from the previous one they used so it took me a littlebit to find it but I am glad I did. I recommend it for your cat if your cat has fleasit will kill them quickly and you will see them fall off in the bath water. The priceis not too bad either for the size.Check it out!

Smells good
It had a good smell but not for fleas. Good for a regular bath not a flea bath

Actually works!
Oh wow, I'm very impressed with the effectiveness of this shampoo, it actually killed all the fleas that our cat had, and our cat was actually fine and felt rested afterwards because he had so many it was not letting him sleep well poor kitty, now he's free of fleas and he can sleep well.

Would recommend to all cat owners
I have searched and searched for a flea shampoo that I liked but none compare to this one! While my cats hate baths, I have never seen them happier than after everything was said and done because of the relief it provided for them. I bought this product and the Safari Fle Comb and will never go back to any other flea solution (besides their monthly medications of course). This shampoo had fleas literally dying and falling off into the tub water while they were still getting their baths. I suggest the flea comb because while it does kill 98% of the fleas on contact (when used as directed) the dead fleas sometimes stay tangled in their fur. So use the shampoo, leave on for 4-5 minutes to kill pesky fleas, rinse (and repeat if necessary) then towel dry them and if they'll let you blow dry them then I would suggest this also. Once they are not soaking wet, use flea comb to remove remaining dead fleas caught in fur and once completely dry go over one more time for any stealthy fleas. Pay particular close detail to face, neck, ears and base of tail. This is where they tend to hide because cats have a harder time cleaning these areas (and you don't want to use shampoo on face to avoid getting in eyes).

For when you really need to murder some fleas,
This stuff kills them dead, and leaves the cat smelling, for a little while at least, like something other than cat spit. The best part is the mournful sound she makes when you’re washing her and the looks she gives you. Like she hates it more than the left hates America but she knows it will get those little freeloaders to leave her alone. Anyway, tldr, this stuff works though for even a normal infestation I’d recommend bathe one day, wait like 4 days then bathe the cat again, and if you really want to be thorough, 3 days later do it again.
