The leather of this bag is soft and supple. It is well priced too. The bag is attractive and well made with large sections for stuff. I wish there was a a small section for pens, keys etc to keep things better organized. Nevertheless I would really recommend this bag, it’s nearly perfect.

The leather is soft and of good quality. There is no odor, and the zipper is heavy-duty. I like the color, as well. My only complaint is the inner pocket array. The manufacturer should do away with the multiple business card/credit card slots and replace them with another pouch for a USB charging block, cables, or another large item. Other than that, it is a very attractive, usable bag.

Simple good bag with quality leather. Even nicer than expected considering the relatively low price. Very clean looking. Also, fits a large laptop. Highly recommend.

Got this in January to replace a pleather bag I got last year that fell apart. Feels well made, holds a small bag of tools, small parts for machines, my laptop and some EDC stuff. Wish I'd gotten the one with the handle as this is geared more towards an office worker than a maintenance technician, the magnetic clasps undo under any real weight/pressure ( such as my small tool sachel) and it really has to be conditioned about once a month. It definitely shows the wear just 3 months in, but I'm ok with that.For the 40ish bucks I spent , it's a pretty good bag.

I purchased this bag 1/9/23 for $65; it arrived 1/12/23. I did a lot of looking up prior and most laptop sized bags looked very similar, for vastly different prices. I gave this one a shot and just hoped it would be ok. I have been wildly (and pleasantly) surprised by the quality. The leather is very soft and supple. The bag does not hold a stiff shape and I am pleased about that as it is more compactable when not filled. This was one of the few bags with slots for credit cards on the inside. The padding for the laptop area is sufficient, and a velcro closure is great there. All of the pockets are well thought out and sufficient. This does not have any strap around the back to place over the handle of a suitcase. Nor does it have any small handles. If you are worried about quality of leather due to its relatively low price, don't be. This far exceeded my expectations.

If you just need a bag that looks like leather, this will be fine. But it’s not dat all leather. The smell is very chemically like they lubed it up with something so it would smell like leather. It smells like wood stain.It’s a good substitute and almost convincing to the untrained eye. But I’ve been working with leather my entire life - my step father was a cobbler and I’m still a leather working hobbyist - and this is not genuine leather.One of the ways you can tell is by looking at the back of the little pen holders. The reverse side of genuine leather has a texture to it. It’s the inside of the animal’s skin. Like, check out the backside of a genuine leather belt of mine. Also, look at the edge grain of the same belt. You can see how there are different layers to the leather. And, fair enough, belt leather will be thicker than bag leather, but even thinner boot leather has similar properties. I also included some images of some high quality boots for comparison. Now, compare that to the “leather” of this bag.Having said all that, it seems like a really good quality bag made of quality materials. It looks like it will get a cool patina as it ages, but it won’t have the durability of leather.I’m definitely returning this.
