Took me a while to figure this out but my experiences may help
I bought this to use as a cadence sensor, mounted on my shoe. I experienced horrible results. Maybe 10% of the time I got a reading. That was my first mistake: 1. Do not use this on your shoe, use it on the crank arm. Once I changed it to my crank arm, I got good results 100% of the time. I wish I could say that was the only problem I experienced. 2. The battery I received in my sensor was garbage. It could barely power the internal radio with enough of a signal to reach my bar mounted Garmin. Replacing the battery allowed strong signal and reliable connection with my Garmin and my trainer. I wish I could say that these were the only problems I experienced. 3. The mechanical finger touching the middle of the bottom of the battery was not bent far enough up to reliably contact the battery. After I replaced the battery - twice - I am a slow learner - I realized there was NO signal or lights from the sensor. After I pried the mechanical battery contact up far enough to actually touch the battery, things got good. It's been working reliably since I took these steps above. That's a little work to get this sensor leveled out, but actually if you factor in the cost of a new battery (and check the battery contact while you are in there), you are still way ahead of the purchase price of a Wahoo or Garmin cadence sensor. It seems to be working reliably now, and with the new battery, I have experienced no signal dropouts. Looks to me that the build quality is all right, with a nice gasket at the battery opening.Good luck!

Great price, no performance issues!
I'm using this as a cadence sensor. I did have to re-pair it once to my Garmin after not using it for over a month. Otherwise it has always connected to my computer as soon as I move the pedals. Very happy!

$30 for a single sensor.
It is only 1 sensor. It can be used as a speed sensor or a cadence sensor. I returned it. I need 2 sensors 1 for speed and 1 for cadence. $30 for 1 no name Chinese sensor is a very high price. If you shop around you can get a garmin or wahoo sensor for the same price, maybe a few dollars more.I never actually paired and used it. The instructions were not clear how the head unit would know whether it is being used as a speed sensor or a cadence sensor.

Great Value, works perfectly.
Nothing much to report, and this is a good thing, since the product works exactly as expected. The shape of the unit is exactly like the Garmin sensors, of course not the name on top.The only thing that could be better is the instructions, pretty much only Chinese instructions, which I can't read :( .Quickly solved by coming on here and checking the description, where I found out the mode can be found out depending on the color of the blinking led, pulled the battery, put it back in and the sensor was in the mode I wanted (cadence mode).I paired with a Garmin Vivoactive HR and with the Strava app on a Samsung Galaxy S6, which means I only used it with ANT+ devices.

Not supported by TrainerRoad
This does not connect to TrainerRoad when broadcast as Bluetooth. TR’s support team indicated there is no plan to support this sensor. When attempting to connect to TR, the sensor broadcasted in Bluetooth will show as a power meter. It will connect to a head unit correctly when paired as Ant+.

Simply a good sensor. Use it for either cadence or RPM
Simply a good sensor. Use it for either cadence or RPM. Nice to have and simple to install on the fly. If you need cadence and RPM you will need a sensor for each function.
