Works on GE dropin electric range model JDS28DF1WW
I bought this to replace a faulty infinite switch for the large burner on my stove. It fixed the issue I had where the burner would randomly and quickly heat to high no matter what the dial was set on.If your electric range is the same or similar model to mine and you need to replace the switch on the smaller burner it's on Amazon too. The part number is WB24T10029.Only time will tell if this is a quality replacement part. For now it does what it's supposed to do. It's the exact same shape and size as my old switch as well so I had no issues fixing it in place.It's nice to be able to cook again without Hades being unintentionally summoned from the depths of hell to scorch my pork chops.

Wire diagram would have been handy. Not all models are direct fit where wires go. Just connect all the wires until you see sparks and things get hot and that should be close enough. Mine is stuck on full heat the whole time and I am happy with that.

Works great easy installation
Great new product works great , easy wire conections. Only issue is that the replacement switch sticks out slightly more than the original, but does not affect the functionality at all .

The correct switch
This switch is a true OEM substitute, and fits and works fine. I had ordered the same part number switch from a different supplier but it turned out to be not an identical replacement, it needed to be turned 90 degrees from how the original switch mounted for the knob on the front of the control panel to be oriented correctly, AND there wasn't enough room in the back of the control panel for it to be turned 90 degrees.

The switch WB24T10025 has a little resistance turning left and right and is fully functional and operational.I did not return or exchange it due to needing an 8" working burner the kitchen had to be back to pre-maintenance standards.2.8 / 5-star rating
