JQUEENAutomatic Quad Watch Winder with Quiet Mabuchi Motors

The media could not be loaded.  Updated review:As stated in previous review, when the new quad winder arrived the right motor was not functioning. When I contacted Amazon they offered immediately to send a replacement unit. My problem was that I am out of the US at the moment and could not send back original unit at a reasonable price. I contacted JQUEEN directly and their customer support and follow up was premium. After evaluating different options like sending a replacement motor and a link to a very explicative video on YouTube, they finally decided to send me a replacement winder without the need to ship back the original one.I already received the new watch winder, and as with the first one, it came very well wrapped and packaged. Once again very nice looking woodwork and finishing. The motor is very smooth and sound super quiet almost undetectable. Unit is working great with all 4 watches, including a Hublot that for some reason was not working with my previous winder.In conclusion, I am very happy with the product it’s a great value and more impressed with their costumer support. For the latter I am changing the overall rating to 5 stars and highly recommending JQueen.Original review:Was impressed with craftmanship and programming functions. I had purchased a Kendal winder last April that just died. While doing some research on the JQueen I came across a youtube video on how simple it is to replace the motor, should it go, on the JQueen which helped with my decision on purchasing this unit. First off, it is beautiful and looks much more expensive than what I paid. I'm very satisfied with the job it does and how quietly it does it. It has been mentioned several times that the winder will over wind some watches. While this may be true, it's easy to remedy. What I do is pick the watch I'm going to wear that day, turn the winder off. Before going to bed I'll replace the watch on the winder and turn it on. Simple. No timer, no worries. I cannot speak of the reliability as I've only had it for about 2 weeks but, again, if and when a motor goes, I'll just pop another in. No need to purchase another whole unit. I like that a lot! Purchase it, you wont regret it.****UPDATE**** Just purchased one for my girlfriend. The first unit had defects. JQueen contacted me immediately and was very helpful in replacing the unit with a perfect looking/operating one. Excellent customer service!! Very easy to work with and I highly recommend JQueen products. Couldn't be happier! Thank you, Vivian!

I bought mine in 2017. In about a year of 24/7 use, it was completely full of dust. The dust is from the cloth around the watch pillows, and also (I think) from the gear drive system. The dust gets all over the watches every time I pull one out to wear. Besides the cosmetic mess, the pillows have all worn away, and they don't fit tightly in the slot. This causes the watches+pillow to fall out of the slot when spinning. The second picture in my review of the Oris watch with the orange band shows how it looks when it falls out, which is daily now. Also the noise level is fairly high. Way too high for a bedroom, where I put it when I first bought it. I later moved it to my living room. I notice all the JQueen models are the same design. I'd avoid them all. Complete junk. Pictures attached.

I'll be the first to admit, there is probably nothing more "bougie" than ordering, then reviewing a watch winder for your automatic watches. Definitely a "want" not a "need" issue. With this disclaimer out of the way, and since I feel like sharing - I have a "thing" for cats, coats, automatic watches and novelty T-shirts that embarrass my kids, in that order.Here's where the sob story begins - when I want to wear my automatic watches, it is really inconvenient to pull it out of the cabinet and not have it ready to go. Each time I have to set the time and date all over again, which can actually be time consuming based on my specific watch model. Since I don't wear it daily, the automatic movement does not get the arm motion it needs to keep the momentum going for the time and date. Simple fix would be to wear it every day, but I much prefer my much cheap Polar fitness tracker on casual days - especially if I am running, working out or doing something outdoors.Because my husband also has an automatic watch, we bought this JQueen Watch Winder that fits four watches - that means we have one more slot to expand into - #Squad Goals. A higher end watch winder (Volta, Orbita, Wolf, etc) can cost $500 and up, especially for one that fits 4 watches. So, this price point is much lower compared to the others I've seen, and it actually looks nice as well. More importantly, it does a great job - it is quiet, keeps the watches wound and ready for wear, I don't need more than that.Here are some additional considerations I think are worth a mention:- Dual power. This winder can run on both electric power and a battery. The battery compartment (battery not included) is hidden from view.- Watch winder motor have 3 direction settings (clockwise, counter-clockwise and alternating) and multiple Turns Per Day settings.- The outside is a highly lacquered wood (piano lacquer, apparently), which is quite lovely.-The see through case is acrylic, not glass.-Inside of box does NOT light up.-Watches are secured with adjustable storage pads. I have very small wrists, making it hard for one of my watches to fit, even when using the smaller pad.-There are two knobs on the bottom one controls each rotating wheel independently, these feel cheap and are hard to turn.If you want an inexpensive watch winder that holds more than two watches, and don't care if it is made of solid burl wood from some exotic region, this does the trick. It looks higher end without the price tag

After receiving one of these yesterday that was faulty. A new one came today. Working perfectly.The feel and look of it is brilliant. Extremely quiet. Can’t hear it really. Very smooth action. Battery compartment also which is a bonus.Finish is stunning. Exactly how it looks on the web.If this is what you want. Then buy it. Simple as that. You will not be disappointed at all.Finally - the way it is packaged and wrapped is brilliant. The moment you open it from the box you know this is a well made product.Recommended yes !! All day long !!
