Brilliant little amp
Great little amp to boost your playing. I use it for ukulele gigs outdoors to give the uke some extra distance. The amp has inputs for mic AND instrument which is unusual. Would be good for buskers too.Battery is internal and rechargeable so no taking batteries in and out. Recharges in hour or so from USB lead. Needs a 2amp charge point or charge time is much longer. Also has Bluetooth input so I can play along to backing Track on iPhone etc. Instructions are a bit sparse and have no info on Bluetooth set up, so it took a while to work it out. But the amp handles mic, guitar and Bluetooth all at the same time with a good output (15W)..I’ve had a couple of other battery amps and this is by far the best.

Just what I needed
Just what I needed to practice at home without disturbing anyone else. Sounds good at low level, haven't tried it loud yet but will when we have a family get together later in the year.

Output of wattage, battery life
Love the look of this Amp. Battery life so far is about 4 hours, quick charging. Good sound output. Perfect for outdoor jamming, Gig sessions

Pretty good overall
Maximum volume is just about doable for busy streets when busking for microphone input. Guitar input crisp and loud. Plenty of controls and the battery life is impressive over three hours continuous and no sign of giving up.

Good Mobile Amp, little clipped in the high ranges and bass, but functional and great form factor
Good solid sound quality from a surprisingly small package, it's not perfect you can see it stressing with very deep bass tones, and it breaks up in high pitch too, not clipped it tries.... but who's taking this to pull off metal riffs? No-one, so what does it bring to the electro-accustic? Well, you can take your own battery backed amp out to lessons, jam sessions and impromptu busk spots. However, the bluetooth was a bit of a pig, you'd pair up and it'd be fine, re-power the unit - after discharging the battery - so your phones are still on etc - and it'd not reconnect you'd have to go through a complete pairing cycle... Do it the other way, so you turn the pairing device on after the AMP it was all fine every time... so just ordering wrangling. You get about 4 hours of play time from a charge, that's on solid playing. Dipping in and out I had a single charge last a week (but this is brand new, so your mileage may vary over time).Build quality is good, it feels like you've really bought a nice piece of kit, it's not the best but its very good, just not perfect with that struggle when clipping out a little and the inability to produce deep bass - but that's more about the form factor than the build/quality.The almost retro look is really rather pleasing, and I could imagine this being toted by any of my contemporaries (middle-aged players) with the younger ones all saying it looks rad, with all the older saying "I had one that looked just like that in 198X" :DSo, do I recommend it?... Yes, the star off? Just the sound clipping thing, also the bluetooth was a little flaky when busking.

RockJam Busters Amp
I would give this 4.5 stars, but for the benefit of the doubt I went up.I think it's either an excellent amateur practice amp, or a mediocre busking amp - the line is very fine. For everything I think is brilliant about it, the one thing they have compromised is the audio quality slightly.Excellent battery life - I charged it overnight straight out the box, and so far it's lasted an accumulated 8 hours. Because of it's size, I hide it down the side of the sofa, and it's so easy to just pull out and have a play with the guitar. It's made finding the time and overcoming the effort to practice a breeze, because nothing needs setting up, and the amp can be so easily moved. The look is very imitation retro, but it's fine. It's a bit plastic edged and not so refined like the new Roland Buskers are, but then those are also 4x the price, which is understandable. The winner of it though is it's size and portability. Ultra light, not inclined to tip over because of it's shape, solid inputs that aren't going to crackle or break - i'm slowly being sold on it for ease of use.I love that it can be multi-channel, so you can plug in a mic and the guitar simultaneously, and all the controls are super easy to use. The leather strap makes it ideal to physically take out busking - overall it's been well designed as a buskers amp that's considerate that some may not drive, and that you'd need to carry everything either on your back, or in your hands.I don't like that there is no headphone socket, this is quite a big negative for me as there are many moments where you'd need to practice in quiet for the sake of other people, and it wouldn't have been that difficult to include. The sound quality is fine - nothing spectacular, and i've definitely heard better. The effects are decent, not too strong and again, i've heard better, but they do the job and don't sound awful, and they work consistently across the board - something i've found with cheaper amps to not be the case. There is a slight loss of clarity in the amp speaker which I imagine would be down to a cheaper speaker drum than most amps, but it's still good enough given the fact it's running from a battery and it can pack out pretty loud. I managed to toggle the effects just perfectly to get a Radiohead sound, so it is possible...Ordinarily, I wouldn't have picked this amp, but for all of it's features outside of audio quality - size, battery, versatility, portability, volume, reverb...i'm actually going to keep it as a practice amp, as it's just so convenient to use.
