and the waist of the size 6 fits just about perfect! They were comfortable on an all day adventure ...
I've only worn these once, so I may come back and update the review after they've stood the test of time. However, I am really liking these so far. I thought I would be between a 6 and an 8 (I'm 5'2 and 132 pounds but I'm curvy in the butt w/ a small waist). The 6's felt a little tight pulling on, but once they are on, they are very forgiving, and the waist of the size 6 fits just about perfect! They were comfortable on an all day adventure of hiking and riding in the car. The material is kind of strange, due to them being water resistant. However, I found that I got used to it and it really didn't bother me. They are still breathable and move easily. Plus, they don't look like dorky hiking pants, which is a huge plus!

DIL loved these pants!
My son & DIL are active climbers. I don’t know anything about “climbing clothes” so I relied on the positive reviews.Perfect that these also come in “short” sizes since my daughter in law is just 5’ tall. She was totally thrilled with these pants!

love the fabric
love the fabric, but it rides up in the leg area creating the fabric to bunch up. making the legs look wrinkled.
