Exactly what I wanted
I work as an animal caretaker at a wildlife rehabilitation and rescue center. I've been in dire need of some water resistant boots as it's pretty dirty work and the grounds get really muddy during the fall. These were exactly what I was looking for. Something heavy and durable yet cost effective since I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for boots that are going to get so filthy. I also wanted them to be cute at the same time. These were literally the perfect harmony of everything. Affordable, absolutely cute, and heavy duty. Not thin and flimsy like some cheap rain boots can be.I was surprised that they actually came in a shoebox. The downside is the shoebox was taped closed and a shipping label placed on it. The box arrived via USPS and was pretty mangled as to be expected with USPS. Thankfully my boots were ok though. They arrived MUCH faster than anticipated too so that is another huge plus for them.The fit was spot on. They fit exactly like every other pair of size 8 boots I own. I was really nervous buying boots online since I can't try them on so having them fit me exactly as I hoped was a relief.The ONLY downside, and I want to add it wasn't worth removing any stars, was they did have a heavy chemical smell from the paint. Kind of a turpentine smell. Nothing TOO bad though and lord knows wearing them to clean animal pens will just make them a different kind of smelly. If they were for regular wear I may set them outside to air out but it isn't worth it for work boots.

Good boot for light use
These are nice boots, and I love that they are not clunky, but I've have them for about three months now and have had to toss them due to holes and tears at the seams. I think these boots will work if you're only wearing them to go out and walk when it's raining. I got them to wear at work training dogs and they did not stand up to the test.

and they're pretty great. They hold up so well in wet ...
Wear an 8.5-9. The 9 has enough room for thick socks if I need but isn't loose with thin socks either. I got these for walking my dog when it's raining, and now they're my everyday, all-purpose shoes. I've been wearing them nearly daily for 2 months, and they're pretty great. They hold up so well in wet weather, and my feet stay warm and dry walking my dog and walking to and from job sites. I wear them to work with leggings and a dress and get compliments on them (definitely didn't expect that from dog-walking shoes). There have only been 2 cons: 1. The heel area inside feel less supported than the rest of the foot, so after long walks I'd feel it in my lower back a little. I bought heel support inserts and the problem went away. 2. The mouth of the boot is wide, so sometimes little pebbles get in when I'm walking on a gravelly path. Overall, I love these shoes. I hope to wear them all wet winter.

Size UP!
I haven't had the chance to really test these out, but wanted to review so I could help others with sizing.I wear a size 9, but I nervously ordered a size 10 based on other reviews, and it was definitely the right move. I was worried that a 10 seemed like a big number to take a chance on, but in this case a 10 is a 9. Like an absolute 9. Like a no wiggle room 9. They fit perfectly with regular socks (could probably wear a thick sock). (If you wear a 9.5 you may want to go to 11). I'm not quite sure why if everyone is experiencing this they don't just alter their sizes, but it is what it is. A 10 is a 9.The quality seems good and sturdy, I'll be adding a gel insole for walking around because they are a bit hard. The leaf pattern is cute and fun, and the height is functional.(I will update if I have anything to add about longevity)

Measure your calf and look at the chart!
I was afraid to buy my normal size after reading a bunch of reviews saying they were too small in the calf area. I literally got out measuring tape and measured my calf with a pair of jeans on. The photo of the measurements is accurate. My calf measured about 14 inches with jeans, which still allowed for an extra 3/4" for a size 7 boot. I ordered my regular size 7 and they fit! I would like them to be more snug in the ankle area, but for this price, they are perfect. I don't plan on wearing them as a fashion statement, so I'm not concerned about how well they keep my feet warm or if they are comfortable. They are rain boots! They're super cute and they're only $34.99! For the price, they actually are comfortable; but I would only be wearing these for short distances when it is raining. Hopefully, this will clear up any confusion for future buyers.

THESE BOOTS ARE AMONG MY FAVORITE !
LOOOOOOOVE this rain boot !!!! I keep them in the car. It's been raining a lot here in Florida...expected & unexpected. If I'm in the car when a storm hits, I can slip out of my shoes and slide right into these babies. I've worn them without socks and with ankle socks either way they weren't too loose or too tight. I've had these for several months now and they have NOT let me down. I've purposely walked through water puddles..LOL..just to test them when I first got them. My sister even commented one day "those boots have been a great investment"....she thought it was funny when I ordered them. Whose laughing now...LOL. :-) I get compliments on them whenever i wear them. I wear 7.5 shoe and ordered an 8 which was perfect.....if I'm wearing skinny jeans or leggings they slide right in..Ref calf of boot my calf size is 14.5 ...

Great Boots!
Based on the reviews and contact with customer service, I was told to order a size larger than I normally wear. They fit great. The height is perfect and they are very comfortable. I am in Southern CA, so it's not cold here. We've had exceptional amount of rain during the past 2 months and we have horses so need boots for the mud and these fit the bill! I'm able to tuck my pants in and they stay. Tall boots are a bit much out here. They are a little warm wearing them all day but I'm think different socks might help that. Rather have warm feet than soaking wet with mud soaked jeans.

Lasted less than a year of minimal use
I bought these boots in October. Wore them maybe 20 times total over the winter. Yesterday when I was wearing them around my house, the heel totally split off from the rest of the shoe and they are unwearable now (see picture). I don't know if this was a defect or if they just don't last very long. However, I was hoping to get at least a year out of these! Very disappointed!
